How do I use the experience points I have accumulated to purchase intelligence for my main pet? I don't see anything in the shop to click on to do this. Thanks.

When you are in the shop you should see a list of all your pets, their intelligence and cost to purchase. If you have enough points to purchase the font color will be lighter and you just have to click on the cost to purchase.

When you click on the Spindles shop link, it'll show you a chart with three columns: all your pets, their current intelligence, and the number of intelligence experience points (the game currency) required to raise a pet's intelligence by one.

If you have enough points to boost your pet's intelligence, that number in the third column becomes a link. Click on it, and the next page will say at the top: "You spent x intelligence points, and (pet)'s intelligence is now y!" If you don't have enough points, the number won't be clickable.

It's really subtle and I don't think it's explained very well in-game, so don't feel bad or dumb for missing it! Hope this helps.
