If anyone else had seen the Pokemon Presentation today, Gen 9 was finally announced. I am so excited and wondering what everyone else is thinking?

What do you hope/predict will come with this new game? I am hoping it won't be a let down, the trailer got me very excited and I have high hopes for this one.

Maan, I just hope the starters final evolutions look awesome and there's a bit more flesh to the story. And I kinda hope none of the starters evos is fighting/ground u.u

I like the water pokemon, generally I go for a fire starter (never been the grass sort for pokemon) but the fire starter pokemon looks average.

I'd go for the violet game. I am keen!

I'm looking forward to the gameplay, I don't plan on getting PLA so being able to experience the open world will be cool. I just wish they had more time between releases as I'm sure the graphics could look much better if they had more time

I'm very excited for the new Pokemon game. All of the starters look so good and I'm very hopeful about new regional variant Pokemon. My favorite starter has to be Fuecoco. He looks so friendly! I just love his design and I hope he doesn't turn into another fighting/fire type. I'm kind of wanting some voice lines or a more flesh out story. Pokemon Sword was the last game I got and it seemed like it was very lacking in story content.

I'm so excited for SV, although I'm having a slight identity crisis with the starters. I always go for fire types, but the grass kitty is just too frigging cute! I might have to wait and see what the final evolutions look like to determine my pick. Grass kitty needs to stay on all fours.

i'm........... in theory looking forward to it i guess and i LOVE fuecoco and sprigatito but i'm mega worried about the devs experiencing crunch, especially this soon after PLA was released...

Maybe I'm getting old and grouchy but I didn't even finish sword/shield and haven't gotten PLA...so don't know about this new series.

I just hope the game is longer then a few hours :-/

Anyone see the new trailer yesterday?

I saw the latest trailer and I'm quite excited! The open-ish world of PLA is quite good, only bad part is the boss battles (I don't think the graphics are as bad as some people say they are, but they are a bit rough). But I really loved the open areas of Sword/Shield (the DLC areas). So I'm hopeful for this next gen, building on from the open world segments in SwSh and PLA. The animation looks more detailed and fluid as well, but obviously they showed bits of the beginning of the game with the rival and professors, so it remains to be seen if they keep up the quality throughout the game. I liked the gameplay of SwSh quite a bit, but the story was terrible, so I'm hoping they maintain the quality of the gameplay and do a better story (I don't expect too much from Pokemon, but SwSh was quite bad even for the franchise, all other gens have had better stories... even my previous "great gameplay but bad story" main series game, X/Y was somehow better lol).

im excited for the new games, like this time around i actually like how the legendaries look? they feel pretty unique and also.... the kinda look like motorcycles and i think thats really amusing. also the professors 0u0 i am once again begging the pokemon to let my lil buddies follow me around outside of their pokeball but i dont think that will happen )':
