I have a 30 Percent Discount Card and a 20 Percent Discount Card. I had assumed that this would give me 50% off on restocking, because the 15% temporary buff appears to stack with having one of the cards.
I'm not getting purchase prices of 50% off, so I'd like to know if anyone on staff has the formula for how the cards work together.
Thanks!
The cards don't stack with eachother.
iirc if you have a 10% and a 30% discount card in your inventory, you'll get a 30% discount because the site pulls from the card with the larger discount.
Thanks for the response! Ooof, wish I'd known that before I bought the 20 Percent Card.
The buff also does not stack

Also good (disappointing) to know! If you've RS'd with a card and the buff active, I'm sure you know why I thought they did. Thanks!
- Yeah. It's a weird thing and also really annoying because it won't give you the 20% it will only give you the 15% until the buff ends.

As far as I know the buff and discount card does stack? I don't have a discount card but this conversation happened very recently here: How do you turn off a buff?
- Thank you. Yeah, the purchase text that mentions both items, quoted at that thread, is why I figured they stacked, though I haven't done the math to determine whether the card or buff is calculated first, which would fractionally influence the discount.
I'm still miffed that two discount cards are no benefit whatsoever over a 30 Percent Card, but it's very reassuring to know that I don't need to start dreading the buff activating. Thanks again for weighing in!
the cards dont stack, but the buff will
it takes the card off first and then it takes the buff percent from that price I believe
The math actually works out the same no matter which discount comes off first, but they do come off one after the other and don't add together to stack that way
Using 1k sP for easy numbers 1,000 x 0.7 = 700 x 0.85 = 595 sP final cost 1,000 x 0.85 = 850 x .7 = 595 sP final cost
