So lets talk about this new outfit UI!!!
What you can do: ~Look up your own outfits ~Look up other peoples outfits ~See public saved outfits as they are posted ~Name a saved outfit and search it ~Sort by Newest or Random ~Share outfits ~Save and delete outfits
What you will eventually be able to do: (speculation) ~Edit outfits instead of having to resave and delete ~Sort outfits by most popular (both self and all) This is stylefile replacement! ~Add Tags to outfits, organize and look up by tags
I suggest these as speculation because they have UI spots but the functionality on them aren't fully functional.
I'm incredibly curious to see how the outfit by popular is going to work, as it would almost completely replace the need for stylefile. The only thing missing would be people being able to comment on outfits. I am very interested to know if the popular ranking is going to be based off the outfit id number so in order for an outfit to accumulate likes to go up in that popular sorting, you would have to save the outfit, then put it on and save it as your current HA. However how likes work is already a bit of a question myself because I believe they reset on a 24/h timer (from the time a like is given) but anyway, I'm super excited to see where this goes!
I hope you guys enjoyed me pointing out an awesome new feature coming out you might not have noticed! And thank you to the team for creating a neat addition to the wardrobe that I personally can't wait to have!
I wonder if we mark an HA as Public, if the like functionality could be added there in the future, so we wouldn't have to search for a forum post to like it.
Took me a minute to fully understand what you were asking, but I totally agree! A definite wish would be more ways to like an outfit! I think ya currently the only way to like someones HA is from a forum post. The outfit UI doesn't do it and surprisingly enough the avatar widget you can add to your profile shows all the clothes but again, you can't like from there! I would totally adore more ways to like HAs especially if something like this new feature is going to exist :D
This is definitely interesting to see. I'm curious what all will be added.
as long as we can get a toggle to set outfits to private on save I will be all good! it's tedious to go back and check.
Ooooooo I love this! I really miss style file so this would be a great set of features
