Subeta - 14 years on Subeta - Thank you friends :D

It has been 14 years since I came to Subeta and I kinda wanted to thank my friends for all the fun I have had. and and from my neopets guild, introduced me and most of our guild members to Subeta. We had so much fun on neo and I was excited when I started playing here. I loved the site immediately and never regretted leaving neo.

My first friend here was . We became friends instantly and found our bdays were one day apart and spent that first bday year here on Subeta together celebrating. Tribal, I am so glad you came back, and even tho we don’t hang out much, it is always a party when we do.

Back then, I am sure lots of you will remember, Subeta would just go down and we would head over to another place. I don’t remember the name of it now, but I met some of my friends there such as , , and other members. I think I got to know people better there than on Subeta, so for me, that place was fun to visit. I also met blackwolf_2009 there and wow, how long ago was that?

I belonged to a cult with Laurie and other friends, so I don’t remember if the Lair was created while we still had cults or if it was started after, but when Laurie started Lauries Lair, the Lair Bears all congregated there. We had so much fun in there, being silly, sometimes naughty and it became the best place to go and hang out with friends. When the Masquerade started, we met more people. SheDevil introduced a very shy member named Teardropfallen. I think we all fell in love with that tender soul the first time we met here. She and I began a friendship that extended beyond Subeta and we talked on the phone for hours, mostly using up her hours. and her were the best of friends and I was lucky enough to get to know them both and still love our friendships to this day. We all miss Gina and that almost binds a lot of us together. Nic, love ya.

who is Laurie’s “brother” and I started talking one night about music. We took our conversation to IM back then. We talked very personally, and we became great friends, and he was the first one to get me into battling. He is a great guy and has a great little family and I hope to see him here again soon.

I know I always overwhelmed you with gifts and had to learn to control myself. I remember our long conversations. When I see flowers, I think of you. Always will. Flowers and . Some things just go together.

Through Gina, I met and and that illusive . DJ, do you remember how we became friends during your life in Florida? It seems so long ago and by gosh it was! How many conversations and stories have we shared over the years???

Through Kado, I met . Lauren, I remember I was a very poor Subetan when we met, but I wanted to send you something and they only thing worth anything was a GenTech item that I had all the things for: a Pirate Bra. Your reaction was “Well, I don’t know if my boyfriend would like it”. To this day if I see one, I think of you. All the authors and books you have introduced me to have been so amazing and I love whenever we have time to chat – you have made Subeta more interesting for me.

I met @ FabulousViolet and at the same time and can’t think of one without thinking of the other. FabV became one of my bestest friends (love you girl) and Duane became my daily battle buddy (miss you Duane).

, omg Kim, can you remember us watching Red Eye together? We would have it on while we played, and I never knew politics could be funny. I miss those days.

you have been such a great friend and when I think of you, I think of Gina and Karen. Do you remember the Potion Lotterys? We got things done, didn’t we and you are one hard player to beat during events. You always make me laugh.

My dearest friend, – where to even begin? When Gina passed, you didn’t know much about her and yet you listened to me cry and blubber and you were so kind. I only knew I pissed you off when you said you would poop on me. Never had I thought that someone telling me that would make me laugh and relax so much, but you did. You have continued to hold my hand and make me laugh and I love you very much for who you are. Glad you are here.

I just get really nervous when I see you with a glue bottle. You just have no control with glue, but I really, really love that that is a true statement. My sticker album wouldn’t be as big as it is if it weren’t for your lack of control!

, do you remember how we met? I have been trying to remember, but it just feels like we have been friends forever, and yet, it is just recently that I feel we have really been getting to know each other. I know you have been disappointed, but I hope, I really hope you are around more, and we can talk more.

only you would understand about croc and lil monkey. How many funny stories and items that went along with those stories have we shared? You always make me laugh and I am smiling just thinking of our friendship.

and you both are such gentle souls and I really don’t know how I deserve your time, but I am always so happy that I can call you friends. cartel, you always pop up when I don’t expect it and make me smile, especially during events. Catherine, you have a way of finding the perfect things to say and brighten my days with your thoughtful gifts and messages.

Then there are my battle friends who have been instrumental in getting my pet Aslanmine to where he is. is greatly missed. I can’t thank you enough for the advice and the scrolls you have lent me and all the talks we have had. I am so excited for you and your wife and your little one to come around June 13. You always give so much of your time to Subeta. you are so sweet and kind and where would we be without your Battle Quest reminders? That was a smart thing to start doing Kevin, and Julie I am so happy you are still doing it. I love reading about your battles in battle chat and love how you always give advice and to me and everyone else that asks for it. I remember I asked to be friends and told you that if you ever didn’t want to be friends you could delete me. You said that was the strangest friend request you had ever gotten – and yet, here we are 😊 I cannot thank you enough for all the encouragement, the updates and funny status you have. You made me laugh with them for awhile and I love seeing when you and/or Demigod is . You are so kind so always remember me during events and I can’t thank you enough.

The Lair brought lots of fun events, and I still get such a laugh at the snowball fight we had in there. DJ, that one was so funny and @ kristi1980 and others were there. That was so wild, and crazy and so much fun. @ Kyth, you are quiet but I always smile when I see you are on. we became friends over time and I am glad we did. you pop up now and then and I love that you are around for events more. It is fun to do events with you. I don’t think I ever would have watched Dr. Who if it hadn’t been for you telling me about it. We really did have some good talks back then, huh :D you are so friendly and always share such good advice and tips with everyone.

you have spent so much time talking with us all and keeping us all together in the Lair. Your interesting stories are always fun to read and your caring for everyone is really touching.

Wow, this turned out way longer than I meant it to, but I really wanted to thank you all for putting up with me and making my time on subeta so memorable. I have really had fun here and hope to have more fun in the future. Thanks!!!!
