I've noticed that a lot of people have massive pet armies and they are all pretty high ranked in various jobs.
i'm curious if you guys are getting 20+ pets up to 1600 Intel for SAI director positions, or are you getting mass numbers of pets in a different job, and what jobs are you going for.
I had started training all my pets to 500 Intel so they can start getting time in on SAI towards getting directors. But lookint at Subetique, 22.5K pet day for only 670 intel actually seems pretty efficient too, even if it's not max income, the savings on the extra 930 Intel will probably make it pay off faster.
Genetech Lab at 15.5K per day, and can start building EXP at 5 Levels 10 Strength 25 Intelligence also seems like a pretty good one to do.
That being said, I'm also keeping an eye on how Criminal plays out for the last few levels. They are only up to level 7 of 10 revealed, and it's already better than most jobs final level.
Level 7: The Hacker Pay: 9,000 sP Requirements for next level: 38 days 66 levels 157 strength 240 intelligence
Or else maybe you guys have just found it worthwhile to get up to 100 AP for farming challengers faster and just go for SAI even though it's probably 100-200mil more to get there?

All my pets eventually max out on SAI. All my pets get AP over 100 so may as well get paid for it.
For early tiers/low AP they work at Subetique. I switch them over to SAI when they get AP in the 80s/90s which is about Tier 7/8, since it takes so long to move up the SAI ladder. They will have 100 AP by time they have been employed long enough for the highest job.
I've been wondering if any of the new jobs were worth switching to for higher sp payout.
thanks
I'm curious do you use a lot of tomes on the pets to get them to 100AP, or do you use mostly books.
Seems like getting them to 1200AP shouldn't be too bad, but then the last 400 seems like a TON of sP

Short answer, it's expensive and the 100 AP are almost all from books (free intel from the job agency is nice).
I mitigate the cost some by planning ahead. I know I'm going for Tier 13 with high AP, so I don't start with the cheapest books and slow training.
Day one they go into auto training, I check my shops for books <1 mil sp, pull them out and read those, and the pet is in a shitty job for the chance to get free stats/intel. Then I hit the non-restocking shops: Skitters, Medacondria, Go Outside, etc. because the shop price is always cheaper than user shop search. Then I do the holiday shops. I have tokens/trinkets/coins/hearts saved so that's a lot of "free" books. Same for Quest Shop and Blue Building but it is drawn out since I'm getting any points I don't have banked from questing.
After that, the pet has enough AP and stats that they beat all the Easy and Medium challengers for exp and eggs. They are now Tier 3 and should be working at Subetique. This takes about a week.
I upload all that to the SubetaLodge book tracker and then I hit the user shops for the cheapest books and work up in price. I get bored of buying and reading books after the first mass user shop buy and things slow down. I try to buy a SubetaLodge page or two of books at time while auto training continues. Once the books start getting pricy it's time to move to the first SAI job.
If I didn't have enough currency for holiday shop books in the first week, this is when I buy shop currency, because it's cheaper than buying the books from user shop search. Once all holiday shop books are purchased, the low hanging fruit is gone and books cost too much to justify buying them over tomes.
The pet should be Tier 8 from auto training and have 100 AP from books at this point. They have been working at SAI and are waiting for enough time to pass to be promoted to the top position. I may let them BQ for the first 25 at this point to get them to Tier 9 or I could ignore them and let them toddle along with regular training. It depends on where my other pets are in Tier and if my Tier 11/12/13 pets are getting tomed to a higher AP bracket (159, 165, 175, 191 or 206 AP) which I do in batches so I don't have to adjust my spells during grinding or event battling.
Most pets get tomed to catch up to other pets' AP at Tier 9. Or Tier 10 if I'm unmotivated to grind Normal/Secret challengers or we are in a stretch with no event/holiday challengers. Once the pet's first toming is done, they are Tier 11 with ~143, 159 or 165 AP. Tier 11 gets to BQ until they hit Tier 12. When a pet hits Tier 12, there should be another Tier 11 ready to BQ or another Tier 9/10 ready for toming and then BQing.
Rinse, repeat and now you have an army. It's crazier that I tend to adopt pets in batches so it's usually 2 or 3 or 4 pets going through bootcamp at the same time.
I'd be interested in hearing what other pet army people do. If they have any sp savings ideas I haven't thought of.
You don't use battle shop boosters at all? I don't have a massive army like you do, I only have 12, but this is how I raised the 8 pets I had from T6 into T9:
Choose one pet to do BQs as far as they can get, then use one of the other T11+ pets to finish the rest of the quests. Use the experience and distribute to the stats I want.
Farm all the opponents. At tiers 6-7, they could farm all easy-hard challengers, T8 farmed up to 15 wins on very hard opponents with some wins on extremely hard opponents. I am currently working on T9 pets and they will farm any opponent they previously missed and attempt more wins on extremely hard opponents.
Use the battle tokens earned from farming and quests to convert down and by battle shop boosters. I always keep x number of each type of token so not all battle tokens are converted to easy.
Once the smaller pet tiers up from exp and battle boosters, I rinse and repeat with the next pet in line. I always have at least one high tier pet and one smaller pet actively being focused on.
The only sP I spend on them is to buy books. I don't use the training center at all. I find it easier and cheaper just to use battle shop boosters and battle exp to train stats. Doing it this way, It's taken about 20-25 days to get a pet from T8 - T9, but was much quicker going from T6 - T8 (4 pets in about 2 months). When it comes to buying books, I try to lump my pets into groups that have similar intel so that their AP is close and they can use the same scroll sets. I also do like you do and buy from all the specialty shops where the books are "free" and use SL to track the books I am missing for all of them.
My battle pets all have jobs. They will have jobs that match their characters so not always the highest paying ones. However the ones that don't have jobs matching their character will eventually be working at SAI once their intel is higher than their SubQ jobs. All of my non-battle pets also have the highest paying jobs for pets with little to no stats.
Tomes are prioritized for my T11+ pets atm. I have one pet I still need to cap, then the other two need the tomes to get to high T12. Once that happens, my T9 pets and soon to be T10 pets will get tomes so that they can catch up on AP.
Wesker Oh I use battle shop boosters. A bloody ton of them. I just use them on Tier 13 pets because getting stats on them is too damn expensive or time consuming. Smaller pets get tomes instead because they need the AP and my large battle shop booster pets are already set for it.
I also grind the hell out of Normal and Secret challengers. So with you on that to grow pets. Both using the exp and tomes.
Yeah the goal for my T13 pet is to cap him with higher intel to use all the scrolls I have. Once that is done, everyone else will get tomes so that they are all around the same AP and I don't have to make as many scroll sets since we only get 5 total. Cheapest for me has always been exp, battle boosters, and using the farmed boosters on each other.
I always play a LOT of Spindles for the intel before I create a pet. I also have a large hoard of books that I have been collecting for years, so I don't mind reading books that are a little more expensive now but where cheap when I bought them. I read and boost intel for the AP because I train and battle with all of my pets. The job is just a bonus.
