is legacy for Mystic plushies and unavailable now, I think is loyalty totems, one a year, seen those at https://subeta.net/preferences.php is Millionaire Center https://subeta.net/ss.php/millionaire#/shop/Pet_Slots, bought one and found I'm not a millionaire enough for a second one
is, I believe, stuff from events I've never seen and things like winning a site-wide restock war - unlikely, even if such an event appears

What is ? The CSC slots at https://subeta.net/pets.php?act=buy_slots ?

Numbers 1 and 3 are both for the CSC slots c: It's possible to have more than 10 available in slot 1 because of some really old changes to pet slot costs (hence the "soft max") but only 10 are buyable currently if you don't already have more than that. The new slot additions are additional CSC slots that have been added above that soft max of 10.

I'm not 100% positive, but I think all the slots in section 5 so far have been awarded via Quest-a-thon events from completing at least one quest during the event

so it's old and new systems collided.

1. is the OLD Cash shop plushies system.
2. loyalty boxes
3. is the NEW pet slots that can be bought on the pet page. (CSC)
4. The MC slots that are expensive ^_^
5. Site wide events; like Quest a thon, Big site downtime, etc.

So, is outside my control; requires a lot of tycoon-ing (even a second 20M would've been a lot, but adding steps of 20M?!); is also outside my control (once a year on a timer); and are CSC items.

And what are the in-game ways of getting CSC? I only know a)the Bathhouse and b)Morty cards... GA medals are being sold, but CSC is non-tradeable, is it?

CSC is tradeable, you can buy it from user shops pretty easily. c:

Any gift cards you see here can also be sold (and bought) via user shops and/or trades.

Earning sP/CSC for petslots isn't hard, but it does require effort, mostly in the form of daily questing.

it is all grinding to get the sp and not spending it towards getting pet slots from the MC. Daily questing is the best way to do that, The weekend quests get 1 mil easy. doing them all you get a good chunk of millions alone. Don't give up.

Ah, my shop search was for "CSC" or "Cash" :D

Ow. Last time I timed questing, it took me two hours for that million. In other games, like Misticpets or FlightRising, I can stock up on stuff and turn it in immediately for streamlining - here, I have to either wait the infuriating 5 seconds between two items or search the Vault for each of the things I might possibly already have :( The builtin "Shop Search" button is cool, but "Account search" is a bit harder to get (the popups take another few seconds to appear). How fast do you manage to do it?

you only have to wait 5 seconds if you're buying from main shops; user shops only have a 1 second wait time. if you have a slow connection it might be harder, but questing is about as streamlined as it gets imo.

ctrl+clicking opens links in a new tab, and ctrl+number keys quickly switches between tabs. ctrl+click the "shop search" button under each requested item to open their search in a new tab; ctrl+2, click buy, ctrl+3, click buy, ctrl+1, finish quest. the main factor is going to be whether the site is laggy & your own internet speed.

I don't bother with account search when I am questing. It's quest and tab open for all the items, buy and boom give back. as long as you spend less than you get from the quest = score. If I don't have a GA, I tend to horde everything in my vault or shop until I get enough for a one week medal and auto-price shop my shop. I tend to make sure I do that around Morostride so I can Lumi shop in Nov.
