I think I've seen a couple of items around the site that imply they might prevent the lizard minion from showing up, but I'm wondering exactly how effective they are. Both are in the millionaire center, and I'm unwilling to spend money on something if it doesn't have the right effect. There's both a trap and a repellent... What do they do?

the lizard minion trap gives you a 50% chance of getting the item in a lizard minion random event. the lizard minion repellant does the same thing but with only a 25% chance instead. having both items at the same time combines their effectiveness. they need to be in your inventory to work; you'd probably want to lock them so they don't accidentally get shuffled around while quickstocking or anything like that.
