Heyo! So I got this from the bath house today: I looked it up on the Subeta wiki and I'm wondering if someone could clarify - does it only turn your pet into the Storm color if you finished the Vesnali 2014 plot? I sent one to a friend of mine and they just got an item after they used it. So I want to know if there's other possibilities and what the odds are?

And as a followup, I took a pretty long break from Subeta so I can't really remember if I did the Vesnali plot or not that year... is there any way to check?

The Tempest Lightning Rod doesn't change your pet's color, it summons the Tempest, who will randomly award a Tempest item (SubetaLodge list HERE). If you want to change your pet to storm color, you need to use a Storm Potion, which is one of the random items the Tempest may give you.

You don't need to have done the 2014 Vesnali plot to use , it just happened to be a prize awarded during that plot.
