I left the site years ago and just joined again. I noticed you need to have your wizard tokens inside your currency bank in order to use them at the lab etc.

Do you have to do this? I find it a little annoying. It was pretty simple before

you must have done something on the site that required tokens to pay for. Vending, the tokens shop, Elwood's shop, the carnival games and Blackheart Hollow. All of those places only take tokens for payment and that is withdrawn directly from your currency bank.
