I took a long break from Subeta due to school and work, and I was exploring the site again. I discovered a post that you have to pay for a custom overlay on top of your pet image. :( I have been playing subeta for years for free and never saw a feature that was "free" become a pay only feature because I was able to code an overlay on top of my pet with my edits or art to cover the real pet. Does this affect the longtime users who had previous overlays before the change?? Does anyone know why subeta changed this? It seems unfair if I have to now pay for an overlay when you didn't have to pay years ago.

There's now a way to make them "official" and they carry through instead of being solely a CSS image code, that's the main difference now.

You don't have to pay a thing to add an overlay to your pet's profile. c: The CSC cost is only if you want to view your pet that way site-wide (and for others to see it the same way everywhere).
