so I got stuck watching a turkey in a roasting pan. It's at 325 F I know it's been on by the other person at least 1 hour ive had it in there another hour. it has no red timer thing in it.I poked the top of it no liquid came out.It wasn't glazed or nothing just thawed and the baggies took out(it even had a bag of gravy in it).Water was the only thing added to this turkey is what I was told(to keep it from drying out).IVe never cooked a turkey..I called up the person that started the cooking on this thing and they where of no help(no clue when they will even be back)..I wanted to just cook the chicken,,,but no they wanted the turkey..
forget it. I turned it off put it in fridge.person still not showed up. if it's not cooked/or over cooked not my fault there the one that took off for over 5 hours.

Well, to answer the title... generally a good test is to run a knife through the thickest part of the breast, and test (with a knuckle), that the knife is warm. That means it didn't hit a cold spot. Juices should also run clear.
That sucks that people didn't turn up. Have yourself a glass of something, eat some bad food and forget the flakes. Frankly, if people won't appreciate the person cooking the meal, then they get nothing. Hmph.
