So I got this warning recently:

"You have received a verbal warning for having an oversized forum image and/or signature. Forum images and signatures cannot exceed 450px in width and 325px in height, COMBINED. This includes all images, links, any text added in your signature, and regardless of images being left or right aligned. Any text added in the signature counts as 10px height per line"

How did the forum signature settings allow me to go over, though? Why was it accepted if it's all too big? I really like having my pets in my signature.... Any suggestions for what to do instead that has my pets in it, and how to make sure I'm not exceeding the limit again?

Also, what would happen if I just kept it as is? Would I get frozen or would they just delete my signature for me? I'd rather not be frozen over something so tiny, but the warning aspect has me worried.

Edit: Oh. I see they did delete it :( Like I said I liked having m pets listed there, I guess I'll just leave it blank for now? Sigh :/

I'm not sure how you had your pets listed, but I would think keeping them all on one line with the pet sCode should be small enough? I tested it and adding the pet sCode to my current signature only made it 110 pixels tall, and it shouldn't be a width issue because resizing the window scoots pets down onto extra line(s) instead of stretching the window.

Per the rules page, you can't be frozen for signature issues, but you can lose the ability to use signatures. I would try filing a ticket and asking about it

Thanks for the suggestion. I may need to file a ticket because I just updated my signature but it shows "Your current signature is 0 pixels tall" which is obviously untrue, and it doesnt seem to be updating on the forums at all. Also it shows one of my pets as nonexistent even though the spelling is correct? So weird.

I'm gonna be pretty pissed if one single offense is enough to permanently take away my signature privileges, especially when the system itself accepted my signature....

I wonder if maybe there's a time limit on it or something? I don't use my signature for a whole lot so I don't really know how the warning works, but here is the actual rule page about it. I do hope you can get something figured out

It's back! And thanks, I was kinda struggling to find the rules. Still having the issue with my pet Flux not showing up and it still shows 0pixels, but I'll take it compared to nothing. Thanks again!

the "0 pixels tall" thing is a known glitch, which is...wildly inconvenient, but you're not the only one struggling with that. it's a pain, but you can do some rough estimating based on item images being 64x64px, pet headshots being 60x60, and lines of text being assumed 10px (which puts yours roughly around the 204px mark in height if we assume the pet names count toward lines of text) but when in doubt, it's always best to file a ticket to make sure.

dunno what's up with flux, you may have to file a ticket about that as well

Have you changed Flux's headshot yet? When I zapped my Experiment 870, the headshot image was the top left corner which is just white space haha.

Oh it is? That's fairly irksome but good to know. I think I should be within parameters now.

Hey, that helped! Thank you! I thought I did, but I think after zapping them recently it reset. Sadly all the pet links are broken but it seems others are having that issue too. Went ahead and commented on the related thread.

Thanks for the help, y'all!
