I focus on quests. I'm trying to focus more on pets than my Human Avatar (aka HA).

You've come during a great time because it's our Luminaire celebration! It's like all the holidays wrapped up into one with lots of merriment and gifts! We adore newcomers and hope that you'll stay a while. Feel free to head over to the Luminaire forums after you get a look around and make some pals and get yourself some free gifts! ~ ❤️

Since you asked though, my goals on here are to make some close friends, own every item I find adorable and eventually fix up my pets to be roleplay worthy. I've been on here for just a year now and I've made lots of new pals, some even are my best friends now! We like to gift bomb each other, help each other finish achievements (they are like quests), and keep each other company through good and bad.

I've also just recently finished 500 of the achievements on here and have a good bit more to go. It's fun always trying for something new each week like collecting a bunch of shoes or turning my pets different colors. We currently don't have any super popular games, questing for SP is the main thing, but the forum games are fun - like counting or abc movie characters - and can get you some forum points for unique items. I also like to change up my HA (Human Avatar) once a week because there is sooo much clothing to choose from.

I hope that you're able to find your own group and goals on here. There is so much to choose from and quests will keep you a busy bee. Are quests all about buying items and getting SP and/or items in return? Is there any tip or something lol

Quests here are buying items and then getting sP and items in return. Sarah's quests are only available if you have below a certain amount of sP so newcomers, like yourself, can get a feel of how quests work on the site.

I tend to do only Shinwa's, Wizard's, and Quentin's quests. Shinwa will give you items you can only get from her and some can help with stats on your pets. Wizard gives out Wizard Tokens that can be used in certain places on the site. Quentin has the chance to give you amulets that you can give to the Mage and get the chance to get a book that can up the stats of your pets.

I would suggest doing Shinwa first as the way her quest works is you go to other quest givers.

I think Subeta first attracts me because it has amazing arts. And later I found Subeta has quiet friendly UI compared to Neopets!

I guess when I first joined I worked on getting my pets a few colors that I liked, and then I got started on Achievements! It's a little like avatars on Neopets, they challenge you to try out different aspects of the site and find what you enjoy c:

I also like battling but I understand that's not everyone's cup of tea and might be a bit more overwhelming when yo are new c:

Questing on Subeta is almost always profitable, unlike on Neo, so it's a pretty easy income. Hope that helps a bit!

I checked on the pets/color combination and now I'm thinking of an army of blobs. But I like my pets to have characters and story, so it might take a while to adopt so many pets lol

Pets aren't that expensive to change tbh, compared to how easy sP to make, so you don't have to stress /too/ much about deciding on final pets. A lot of elixirs are sayy 40-80k maybe? You can earn that in less than 5 quests. Our shops are pretty easy to restock too, it's not as competitive as on Neopets imo.

We have a zapper too, it's located in Darkside, but just be wary it can zap your minion permanently, and 1 item in your invent into dust, so I only go with a pet with a junk minion and empty invent c:
