I made this feed for book recommendations and if others are doing the same!

Hi everybody! I recently got back into reading because it helps with my anxiety. I'm looking for new books to read. I love fantasy novels like A Court of Thorns and Roses and The Name of the Wind; quick little love stories like The Love Hypothesis; Historical fiction like Outlander! These are just some of my favorite genres, but I'll try to read anything once!

It may not be new, but I loved K-PAX which I now prefer to the movie. The book tells much more about the prot and his background, and a particular character is left out altogether.

I'm interested in reading On a Beam of Light to see how prot's return affects the people he left behind.

Old, and obsolete.

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire SΓ‘enz! It's a young adult novel but it's worth a read!

I read a lot of fantasy! Some of my recent favorites have been Gideon the Ninth (Tamsyn Muir), Circe (Madeline Miller), and A Deadly Education (Naomi Novik). You might also like The City of Brass (S.A. Chakraborty)!

If you're okay with branching into sci fi, I really like Becky Chambers' Wayfarers series, and her new novella, A Psalm for the Wild-Built. She writes feel-good, hopeful sci fi better than anyone else. Check out this article, "Is Becky Chambers the Ultimate Hope for Science Fiction?" if you need to be convinced.

+1 Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe was really nice :)

If you haven't read the LotR Trilogy/The Hobbit, I definitely recommend those!
