where can I find a list of all the books? and compare them to what my pet has read?

Click on the dropdown menu for the pet and select Books Read. You'll go to a page saying Books Read where you can see all the books your pet has read. There's also a link labelled "Click here to see what's missing!" Click on this and it will show you all the books your pet hasn't read yet.
