I’m attempting to have an interview with a woman online for an English tutoring position, and for whatever goddamn reason no one’s coming to let me enter despite the fact that I’m on time and using the link she gave in the email.

Idk if this is just the tutoring agency not paying attention or a technical thing neither side can really navigate, but this has been happening for two days now and I’m really frustrated. I’d have no problem doing it in person, but with COVID and troubleshooting and whatnot in the mix it’s so much more inconvenient. sucks

omg technology sucks so much sometimes, that sounds extremely frustrating 😠 i've been helping my mum and sister with their devices for most of today - it must be something in the air haha i hope you're able to come to some kind of solution soon tho :(

Thanks for the encouragement. Turns out it actually wasn’t a woman - she was actually younger than me, and I really can’t blame her for the delays. It’s just weird to enter a setting like this and feel so much older than you really are

Good news is that the interview at 4 o’clock went well and I got the position!! 😊 I know it’s free volunteer work but I’m really excited for this, plus I have a way better understanding of how the actual program works now.

And thank you for the pet compliments ;-; Rami’s on my shoulder hehe. And yeah I’m super happy with Chunks, I missed my cheeky little ghost shark on NeoClassic and having a lil haunted squeaky toy is about as close as I can get! He’s adorable and I plan to do a bunch more with him!!
