hello all, i'm sage! pleasure to meet you. i played subeta for a brief period a very long time ago -- so long ago that i have no idea what my old account's info would be -- but in my youth it was a tad too overwhelming so i wound up dropping it in favor of sticking with neopets. as fate would have it, i just left neopets after about 19 years there and in my yearning for another pet site to call home (and with some prodding from my boyfriend, who played subeta a lot more in his childhood and picked it back up before i did) i'm back!

i've aleady been here for a few weeks settling into the gameplay; i wanted to see if it would stick, and it has, so here i am! i was worried about getting acclimated to a new environment after so long, but i'm really enjoying the site this time. coming back as an adult player there are a lot of qol features i appreciate so much more, there's a bunch of progress to be made easily with so much still to do at your own pace, and there are such tremendously welcoming and relaxing vibes here besides. there's plentiful new content plus a ton of nostalgia in the things i do remember (playing so much reflection, namely), and morostide was a super fun event despite the site hiccups, so i'm thriving. reeeally loving (especially sticker, plushie, and minion) collections and ha customisation in particular!

anyway, a bit about me: i work for cemeteries full-time and write lgbt+ speculative fiction on the side, and i'm also into horror, kpop, games, astrology, poetry, and a ton of other stuff! once i have some free time i'll be working on characters for all of my pets, my favorite pet site hobby. i'm a pretty shy person by nature but i was very active on the neoboards (i was thehoodedjustice over there and usually frequented the pc or ncc if that rings a bell for anyone) so i'm hoping to be just as active here once i warm up to the forums and other communication a bit. i'm looking forward to meeting everyone and enjoying fireside and luminaire! ❤️
