I'm not averse to participating on the forums, but I've had a really hard time reaching this 100 post goal. I assume it's there to encourage forum activity but it seems like most of the topics are something along the lines of "What's your answer to this question?" where everyone responds and they don't really interact with each other.
I remember forums being a bigger way to meet people back in the day, but it does feel a bit outdated (reddit type forum organization seems to be the new norm).
In any event! I want to hit 100 posts, gosh darn it, so I'm going to post here. I'm open to chatting but in the event that nobody responds, I will make do with talking to myself. O_O
I'm game, getting in was no sweat. The hardest requirement, for me anyway was to level up any one of my pets. When I checked had all but two fulfilled.
Mine also feeling let down with the slow at best progress of any thread I post on. I find limiting my time here becoming more often than not.
Sixty some posts can be done in short order, if you're up to it.
I'm clearly a part of the problem since I made this post and then almost immediately forgot about it! I feel bad for even complaining now, haha!
Ah yeah I could see how leveling up pets would be the hardest... I never touched battling in neopets so leveling up was one of the first things I was interested in. Although uh, it seems very slow going after a point. There's still not a lot of things I can successfully get my pets to murder.
I'm used to it.
I don't my battle pets here, even though I'm something of a Pokémon player. I just never got around to learning how. But also I'm not well read into what other methods are available to boost stats.
Take your time, I'll be on for a the remainder of today. Correcting some online homework before tonight's deadline.
I'm investing time into like, raising stats and collecting weapons, but that's about the extent of my interest so far. I see stats and elements and... stuff, but it's not very intuitive and I'm not too interested in trying to figure it out on my own. Pretty sure I picked my weapon set 100% based on aesthetics.
I do love Pokemon though! Very, very different battling ofc. Brilliant diamond/Shining pearl remakes are coming out soon, I'm actually pretty excited about that. I honestly cannot tell if I even enjoy Pokemon or if I'm just purely in it for nostalgia at this point. The games do make me happy and it's pretty chill to play while watching stuff on netflix, so! :D
I'm also trying to bust into those blue doors but it's a lot. I'm more than halfway there and I see you are too, so at least we're over the hump!
Damned be mine old obsolete self. Mine had finished a goal over at the Blue Building yesterday, after about three months.
I'm too human to ignore these...
Keep mine goals simple, the last for the year is continue accumulating Mage Amulets to sell on Dec 31st.
Good HA, a major dose of psychedelia. Mine been experimenting with HAs without a human component. I may keep this up.
Oh snap, those amulets are gonna be more profitable soon?? I'm new so I wasn't aware. Been selling them as soon as I get them.
And thank you, I think I'm harnessing the spirit of Lisa Frank with this one. I dig your humanless HA, definitely gonna attempt some of my own sometime.
I previously sold my amulets at month's end, which would take in 20-30 Megs. I simply made the choice to try the same for a year, I have several hundred so far.
I like the challenge of a human less HA, and am sometimes able to express something with few components.
Private Outfit
This is my favorite from the days of my previous UN, Vioran Soldier. It is a representation of where he came from.
Hi! I am also trying to get into the Blue Building without being too spammy :'D have you managed 100 yet? I did not take enough advantage of the trick-or-treat/egg/TP threads during Morostide haha.
Mine didn't really know about the requirements to enter until well into my return. I had more difficulty achieving other points on the list, but when mine got admitted I immediately started to reap.
Keep it up, drops in the bucket.
It is quite a list! I'll try not to get discouraged, thank you :)
And in a short time you'll have acess. In the meantime it's a chess by mail match, your move.
chess by mail lol! Great way to describe it. :D I discovered the "user run games" sub-forum, which seems like a fun way to rack up some posts.
The user games can allow for some additional posts, I've observed some move slowly at best (Where I post). Threads like Ping the user above could best suite this.
Chess by mail is how I used to play, before the internet.
that's a fine idea, thank you! I'll check it out. I grew up with computers so I feel like I sort of missed out on the snail-mail pen pal era.. what a neat thing :) It would be nice to get mail sometimes that isn't junk or bills.
Mine appreciate something like hand written letters, incidentally I'm going to send a thank you letter to a friend of a friend who donated some tools to advance my ongoing study of automotive technician.
I would not want to end up forgetting times of writing and being able to write. I'd hate to have learned mirrored writing and no one understand what I do there.
