We still have this limit??

I've been hitting it easily by mid afternoon for the last few days. It's pissing me off, I literally just found the best Borg costume and I really wanna like it, but no. Grrr.

if you need a limit at least up it to 50 people? 20 people is nothing, especially during events :(

In this meme metaphor for my grief, is Keith Subeta mother? I mean he is Subeta Mother but is he the authoritarian stealer of joy Subeta Mother who has control of the likes limit? ...Why is my phone now capitalising Mother?!

I never really understood the need for a limit in the first place. I doubt it strains the servers much. I think maybe they were thinking people would "like" avatars of our friends instead of "good" avatars? But even if that was the case who cares? Most people never run into this limit anyway, unless its during an HA heavy event like this one or masquerade.

If a limit is necessary, I say 50 or even a 100 would be fine, unless there's a real (server/tech) reason for it.

yeah, i don't have the exact number, because i had liked other avatars before i tried to figure it out, and idk if likes reset at midnight or have 24 hour timers :U

i have a topic in my personal forum group that's just friends' avatars + people whose style i like (~30 people), and i always run out before i can like them all... it's super lame >:(

it resets at midnight Subeta time. Midnight Subeta is 5am here and I've been chilling on Subeta most mornings lately, spending all my likes on not even that great HA's. Kinda regretting some of those more friendly likes now.

I have never understood the like limit. Im all for upping the limit to 50-100 or unlimited if it's not an actual strain on the servers.

I had no idea there was even a like limit, but 20 is absurdly low especially during HA-centric events. Why is there even a limit in the first place? What a weird thing to limit.

I think it's nice having a limit so we can't like every avatar we see. Would turn the feature a bit pointless. But 20 is criminally low, I don't even try liking every avatar I see limiting myself to only the ones I -adore- and even so I keep hitting the limit.

Yeah, at least something like 50-100 per day would be better. You can easily reach a 20 like limit just from doing random ToT for a couple of hours if you see a lot of cool HAs.

I see no harm in raising the limit a little. :) If anything maybe for events it could be raised a little more and then lowered back to a fair amount for the 'down time' between goings on?

Yeah I've never understood the limit and see no need for it at all (if there's a technical reason, that's different). So what if someone does want to "like" literally every HA they see? Getting likes doesn't give any sort of advantage, it just feels nice. Let everyone get some appreciation and feel nice. It doesn't need to be a contest between all the HAs you see in a day; it just means "hey I like this, good job".

I'd never run into this. I had no idea avatar likes were limited! (I must be too picky about giving out likes...) :( If it's not a server issue I see no reason to limit the number of HAs we can like.

Oof. Only 20? That's so low! I also like a lot of HAs during events, usually at least the people above and below me in forums. :'(

Also: I wanna see the cool Borg costume!! I might've already seen it but if not I wanna see this one too!!
