i don't know if this is a new feature or an old feature that isn't working properly? i have almost all the human zapper skins so i usually only do the bribe option.

i did the regular 50 token human zap last night and today, and i believe i got the "free human zap" buff both times? last night i didn't notice it until i got the buff expired notice because it does not have a sidebar icon like other buffs, but this time i remembered the page buffs link to: https://subeta.net/preferences.php?act=buffs

i paid for a 50 token zap and then saw the following on the buff page:

no explanation, just a zombie candy corn and a one hour timer. i went back to the zapper and could get another human zap, but it still took tokens (it skipped the wait, but it was not free).

further, it did not last for the full hour shown on the timer; i don't have a buff expired alert so i don't know if it expires early or when you claim the "free" zap, but it was gone at around ten minutes when i refreshed the page.

I also had the same issue yesterday where I didnt even know I had it till it expired?

same thing just happened to me. didn't know i had a buff until i got the notif that it had ended. went back a couple pages and didn't see a buff icon whatsoever.

Also here to report that there isn't a notification or icon for the buff, and that you still have to pay tokens

I've had the expiry event 4 or 5 times but haven't seen the initial event once. I want to use my free zaps (even if they aren't currently free).

I also had this a couple of days ago. Got the expiry notification but no event or buff icon.

Yep, just got a notification that my free human zap buff expired but never got a notification that it had been given to me in the first place. It didn’t show up in my buffs on the side either.

def didn't have it; pretty sure it came at the same time as Alert: You can use the Zapper again!. they both say 11 hours ago rn so i can''t check the exact time til tmrw.

Also reporting, I'm on mobile and did the basic zap. I don't recall seeing anything about a buff or an icon saying it was available until it had expired and sent the notification

I don't need to zap anymore, but I got sooooo many expired buffs when I was zapping. No notification that I had a free one, just that it had expired.

Sorry to revive this thread but I'm also having the same issue where there's not notification of a buff or any sidebar image/notification till it expires.

Is this being addressed or looked into?

Oh cool, it wasn't just me, then. I was thinking I must have kept deleting notifications without reading them or something. Was bummed I missed out on a few zaps that way. I was getting quite the skin collection going.
