WHY in the world would you retire last years Special minion ??? I have waited ALL year to try and find Kracklen the minion as i'm sure i'm not alone in this!!!

They retire the Finding achievements every year in favor of the new Jaxon minion. I found that out myself one year when I missed finding the new pet at the time. Wasn't happy either, I'll admit.

"As a treat, every single previous Jaxon related minion has a chance of being found."
^ From the Morostide news post. Seems to me the retiring of the Kraklen minion might be a mistake? Or, it's not really retired, it's just listed as being so and still actually available to find.
Either way, I hope you find it this time
Thank you so much

The achievement mentions that you need to find the newest minion - Kracklen is no longer the newest, so the achievement is retired
You can still find the minion, you just can't get the achievement for it.

I tried more than 100 times last year and I didn't find it as well. I was really upset with that. I remember that I opened a ticket lol
This year I found the new minion after 20 tries more or less in second day of Morostide!
It is really sad for us (as achievements collectors) but yes :( We just need to acept it!
This is why I said in OP's suggestion topic that I'd have absolutely nothing against unretiring all of those Jaxon minion achievements. Assuming that staff are going to keep all of them in the patch from now on, users only have 2 weeks out of the whole year to get them anyway and you have no guarantee that you're going to get the minions you need for the achievement even if you use minion nip.
The achievements for finding these minions don't have to have any extra rewards or titles attached (only the Slivyne one has a title anyway). People simply like collecting achievements and I see no good reason to keep them permanently retired just for exclusivity's sake.
If there are no plans to unretire them, then clarifying which year the achievement is for would be helpful and more user-friendly, imo. Popping back in after X months of inactivity, or being a new user and seeing "Find the newest minion in the pumpkin patch (Morostide 2021)" is less confusing than seeing "Find the newest minion in the pumpkin patch!" with a big 'retired' label on it.
as far as the retired achievements go, i don't mind having stuff be luck based and retired after a year. i would like to see the wording on them change to something like "find Jaxon's special (year) minion {name) during Morostide ('yy). additional flavor would go in the second sentence if there happens to be any."
