So for the first year I've finally a) remembered that the Bag of Minion Nip is a thing that exists and b) remembered in time to actually buy and use it. But now that I have it, I forget exactly what to do with it. Does it need to stay locked in your inventory to work, or can it work from your wardrobe too? I looked the item up on Subetalodge but sadly no help there.

It has to be equipped on your HA to work, but doesn't need to be visible (I hide mine behind my background every year)

Dumb question but what does it do?

Another item that's handy during Morostide is either the or . When worn on your HA (whether it's visible or not), they greatly reduce your chances of getting hexed. Unless you are going for the hexed achievement, avoiding hexes is a good way to increase your trick or treat loot.
