I own a ton of other gadgets too, but like most people, I just don't have the room to keep them out, so they get tucked away and forgotten.
What kitchen gadgets do you own that you actually think is worth the space they take up?
For me: Instapot, rice cooker, and the onion slicer. I do miss the Keurig being out a bit too.
Immersion Blender, Instapot, and a Toaster Oven.
I got the blender as a Christmas gift from the in-laws one year and I didn't expect to use it that much, but man does it make certain soups so smooth. We use it at least 2x a month.
Knife holder (makes me feel badass when pulling one out) and garlic crusher (so that I don't have to smell them in my fingers for the next 3 days).
rice cooker

100% agree with rice cooker. Mine even has a veggie steamer basket and a booklet how to use it for more than rice! I also think my toaster oven is 100% worth it because its multifunction, mine even does rotisserie chicken when I have time to slow cook it. Those two machines i can easily make about 80% of my meals with. Then after that my crockpot is good for when I make slow stews <3
FINALLY GOT THE 15K WARDROBE DONE!!!!! Next up gutting and selling it.
Toaster oven. Don't have to heat up the whole house to cook up pigs 'n blankets!

Egg cooker, because other ways I can’t make the perfect soft boiled egg lol

A stand mixer is important if you are baking things that require kneading dough. Otherwise, a hand mixer is fine.
Toaster oven, microwave, rice cooker, electric tea kettle.

im very minimalist in the kitchen but two i absolutely cannot live without are an espresso machine and immersion blender
Stand mixer and, on a smaller scale, a pastry blender. I do a lot of baking and these make life so much easier. The stand mixer is a pain in the ass to haul out, though.
Food processors are great as well. Surprisingly versatile!
Swiftpaw: We live in an rv so space is a lot more limited. There is a gas oven and stove but we don't want to use the gas, so we have a toaster oven and hotplate. Then the microwave is built in
air fryer!
My mom bought me the 5 in 1 ninja foodi grill/fryer a few Christmases ago and I use it for everything. It's pretty massive but has been worth every inch it takes up on the counter.
Want crispy fries? Air fryer. Want to roast veggies? Air fryer. Want perfect salmon? Chicken? Air fryer. Want to BAKE A CAKE? AIR FRYER.
Other than that, my instant pot. Mine sits on a small round cart I got from Target and it fits perfectly. I just roll it over to the counter and plug it in, leaving it on the cart the whole time. Especially now that we're getting into soup and stew season.

air fryer, toaster oven, instapot, rice cooker, Keurig I think are the ones we tend to use a lot of.
Coming from an Asian household, our rice cooker is pretty much ALWAYS used for pretty much everything. steaming vegetables, use the rice cooker, steam buns, use the rice cooker, congee and rice, use the rice cooker, oatmeal, rice cooker, etc..etc.. Same for the air fryer and while we don't use the instapot that much it is used quite a bit, mostly for soups and stuff like that.
We use our keurig a ton because we don't have a normal coffee pot machine so that's our main coffee machine so that's used pretty much everyday.
I'd say blender or vitamix too, but we don't use ours as much as we thought we would.
The air fryer though, we use that all the time, especially since our oven has been broken since forever and the air fryer has kind of taken the place of the oven.
Definitely an air fryer blender and a toaster oven / mini induction stove combo.
I don't have the air fryer yet but all my friends are literally singing poetics about it and I may purchase one eventually to cut the use of my oven. I really enjoyed the fries that I ate when I had dinner at my friend's.
Def the air fryer.

this is a standard one, but I love the stand mixer, it saves time and energy and while it's going, I can prepare other things! bread maker is also a big favourite, along with my rice cooker
It sounds like you both like to bake... do you need a taste tester, by chance? ;) I'm on the market for a good baking friend.
My parents have an air fryer, and use it all the time. I wish I could think of something make in it that makes sense that's gluten free.
, I was experiment baking a lot last year, covid boredom and all that, but I was using the air fryer to bake most of it. But I did pretzels in the air fryer, brownies. You do have to put them into smaller containers, and maybe up the temperature and time than what would normally be used for a standard oven, but pyrex bowls held up fine in our air fryer.
Also, gluten free, but if you have pre-frozen stuff like cauliflower based crust pizzas which would be gluten free, they can just be reheated in an air fryer too.
I'll def be your baking friend, but I have to confess that my bf is much better at it than I am. My bakes use baking soda or baking powder usually as the rising agent, but my bf makes things using yeast and is a seriously good sourdough baker.
I've heard of people baking things using a rice cooker or Instant Pot but I've never tried even though we use both.

electric pressure cooker, not only fantastic for cooking the slower foods like beans and meat faster, but also, it makes quicker foods cook even quicker, like cooking vegetables? 10 - 20 min. Also, it has a frying setting, where the coil heats up the pan without needing to pressurize, and so you can sautee and sear things before cooking them.
Also, measuring cups and spoons. No, you do not know what is a cup or a tablespoon, you are probably overestimating it.
And a good knife sharpener. You don't understand how many accidents I have prevented by getting one, cutting with blunt knives is one of the most dangerous things you can do in a kitchen.
