I'm forever jealous of your ability to read a thing and actually absorb the information. That's some wizard shit.

Whooo!
What did you do today? I was super lazy; I did laundry and now I'm trying to convince myself to cut and henna my hair.

ooh how often do u do tht? ive been lazy af 2day too, pretty much just sat around til i finally got myself 2 start doin hw lol
I cut and dye it once a week. My hair grows pretty fast and if I let it go two weeks or longer I start looking like a dandelion fluff.

ok but being a human dandelion would b pretty cool. just paint ur body green and rly go 4 it
sjdflajldfkjl NOOOOO omg, watch some weirdo come up to me and be like "Oh good, dandelion!" and just start puffing their nasty breath at me

Impressive your workload, mine only have two textbooks to read this semester. The subject just changes within the main topic, this semester is automotive brake systems. I think this week I'm focusing on Power Brakes, a very different topic from the last week.
You've got this, just one assignment at a time.
All I did today was clean out some of my house to receive guests for a cookout. We're now watching Fire to send off the evening. The adults also enjoyed a dish of tequila spiked cactus fruit sorbet with vanilla ice cream.
Other people breathing on me makes me want to die. Have you ever been trapped in a very crowded elevator and the person behind you is huffing directly onto your neck? It's so uncomfortable. :'D

yeah, this semester my classes require a LOT of reading unfortunately. automotive seems like a nice field because you can learn things and then apply them directly and get more hands-on experience.
thank you for the encouragement ^^
sounds like a nice time! and wow, what a dessert. i've never heard of anything like that
oh god elevators r my worst nightmare. don't think i've ever been in a crowded one thank god, when i'm in them i stand firmly in the corner in fear lmao
You remind me of a friend who during a few semesters took full time, with two or more automotive courses, a full time job, and shouldering his family. I saw how the load took it's toll, and how he took it head on. He inspired me in the first place to study this, and helping me come out of an abyss of depression.
Those kinds... you read and watch happening somewhere else. A person whom you can say later in life, "I knew them before the world did."
yes, most semesters i have gone to school full-time. i'm very lucky that i don't have to work while i study, i can get by with my financial aid. i couldn't imagine also having a job and a family! i'm glad you could be inspired by your friend, depression can be very difficult to recover from.
I just realized that the next section of the course is focused on front brakes. The reading alone is much more than I'm used to, the shop manual is almost a hundred pages. It's going to be three intense weeks, with a lot of demonstrations and hands on.
The upside is this material I'm somewhat familiar with, with some new details I was not aware of.
