forgive me if i'm missing something obvious as i'm returning from a 10yr hiatus, but is there a morostide event this year? I thought it was supposed to run for the whole of october, but any event pages bring up an error message to say that the event isn't active.

It runs from mid-October through the end of the month

I believe a long time ago it did used to run for the whole month. But yeah in recent years it tends to start around the 15th-17th or so and then lasts through the 31st.

I was wondering the same thing!! I was so excited when October 1st came around, thinking Morostide would finally be starting, but NOPE!! 😩

I wonder why they're so stingy with Morostide nowadays?? 😳

I don't think it's being stingy but perhaps to keep people from experiencing holiday burnout if something lasts way longer than usual. Morostide has a lot going on with the patch and trick or treating and we usually get 2 waves of ToT items. But I think the nearly 2 week long holiday is more than fair. Sometimes it does get pushed into November if anything goes awry and who knows maybe one year for a big anniversary we could get a whole month. ^-^

Its about halfway through October. As much as I love Morostide, people get burnt out on the many things you do like egging, trick or treating, pumpkin patch, baddies to battle, etc. there's also fireside a month later, black friday--and Lumi all December . That's a lot for the programmers to handle let alone site lags, events and other things. And I think if any of these events were longer people would also want more items which would be more work for the staff. But they do extend some events when there is a plot or site glitches.
