And for my debut CW, I wanna check interest for these pretty butterfly dresses I found here~!

I'm not that keen on which dress is what species, so I numbered them to make it easier to pick which one you'd like. ^.^

Blue Morpho Butterfly Dress Description: Not quite as pretty as a real butterfly, but close enough, right? Male and female. I decided to keep the wings. :3

I'm not sure if it's copyrighted but I think I'm gonna make some changes anyway. I'm not sure if making the wings longer than the original counts as a change. I also put some black lace under the dress but it's barely visible. x.x

I can see the lace if I look up close but truth be told when it is resized it will just look like part of the black border of the dress. Some things to consider are color, length, additions and deductions of the dress can all count as changes without altering the design too much. :3

DEFINITE YES FOR THE MORPHO () so much yes. I would buy this dress in a heartbeat (as long as I have the CSC). I'm also really, really, really interested in , as it is either a Painted Lady butterfly or Monarch.

There are already four changes: 1: the cape is longer 2: the collar is missing 3: the tassles/antennae are no longer there 4: the left (the manniquin's) straps are less in number, three, rather than four

Heck yes~ I'd love to see number two be colored, though, not just white (even though it may be a Paper Kite butterfly).

Also! I've got a reply from the original artist on Tumblr! Here's what he said: "Haahhh well all of these butterflies are based on ones i saw at ‘butterfly world’ in the UK i have no real idea what there species is called, i have photo’s of the ones i saw on here (somewhere). Umm for the Subeta site, I generally tend to be okay with people using my designs so long as they don’t make profit from something i made. As I’ve had a lot of people want to make dresses from them for there own personal use but i’m not to sure how avatar pet sites work hehe. Though i would love to see the blue morpho sketch!"

So... I've showed him the sketch, and told him there's no way to work around paying for slots to them for to get them on-site. I'll see what he says. Maybe we'll have to keep these items private or something? Maybe keep the slots at 500, so that we're not making profit? I'm not entirely sure... Any suggestions?

Sadly, no. Once I see the pictures, I could maybe tell what they are, but as for now, I'm assuming is a Paper Kite and is a Blue Morpho. EDIT: Also, if you can't see my other post, just quote it as a way to work around it for now.

Hmm, I guess the best thing to do for now is to see what he says. Or I could talk to him as far as how the CW process works, especially the part about making the four changes so it's not an EXACT copy of his design and that people paying for it to be onsite goes toward releasing the batch. (if we were to do it at 500 CSC.)

That sounds like a good idea too! That dress would make a gorgeous necklace. :3 Then again, I think ANYTHING based off that dress would be gorgeous, lol.

Edit: @ JazSimone Oh my god I absolutely adore # 5 °-° For some of them you might have to reduce them because especially the pant part on # 2 could be easily made a seperate item.

As slot price I would suggest 550 CSC maybe? That way when you make two batches there would be one person in each batch to only pay 50 CSC so the makers wouldn't have to pay the full price?

Yeah! And could be such a cool bustle. could easily be made to look more like armour than a dress or something. Fabulous Battle Gear XD could be shortened and maybe opened up to be a jacket, maybe.
