Welcome! Subeta is definitely addictive. You'll find lots moms too. I have a 2 year old and a soon to be 2 week old. Not a stay at home mom but enjoying parental leave as long as I can. Wish I could draw though! Your art is lovely! Wishing you lots of success here on Subeta.
Yeah I’ve seen a few already! Omg enjoy it while you can! 😭 It goes by super fast, I remember when my husband went on parental leave when I had our son, he got 6 full weeks paid! It was amazing but it sure did go by fast!
Lucky. He got 8 weeks but unpaid. So we saved up to do this. This time we are both off at the same time. Last time I was off first then he took off. So it is nice to have him on diaper duty and I just feed lol
That sounds complicated but I’m so happy it’s working for y’all!🙏🏻💗 When my mom had her three kids my dad wasn’t able to get any time off, so she basically did it alone and I can’t even imagine that. 😩

yeah, sadly it has been a little on the quieter side around here lately. the player count in general went down a little bit over the last couple of years, but normally the forums are a little more livelier. have you joined/tried to ping #/artsale ? It's a group dedicated to buying & selling art! there is almost 700 members and it will ping all of them directly to your shop :) alternatively, the cw market is alllllllways starving for new artists as well if you're interested in trying your hand at them! you can submit/release your own items for csc, or you could even sell your designs/do commissions for others to buy in the forums for either csc or usd :) (this gives them the right to release the item and distribute it as they please, they pay for your copy typically). just an idea if you're trying to make some currency!
Oh cool! And no I haven’t tried the artsale pong, how do I ping them? Do I just use the hashtag on my shop?
yep! whenever you're ready to ping, just edit your first post in your shop and use #/artsale hashtag anywhere in the post without the slash and it will ping the group with the title of your board :) it's really easy and helped me a bit when I used to run an art shop.
[edit] I should also mention you have to join the group first to ping!
