Hiiii. I'm struggling to think of fun contest things that we can run, so I thought we could run a contest to brainstorm contest ideas. (Thanks, Kitten!)

I like it when we do beat X challenger x many times with the smallest pet. It's not crazy time consuming and it had to deal with weapons available to the person, available for the tier of the pet, and strategy. Everyone can do it without devoting hours or days to it.

Hm. I like riddle puzzles. Puzzle a day where you can post something like a daily thing that could be a crossword/sudoku/word find. I've got some fun puzzle apps on my phone that could be interesting.

Weapon drawing contest. Basically, doodle something you don't thing is on site, and heck, it could be inspiration for the next Cathii wearable.

Could do the tried and true BQ lotto for finishing your BQs.

Or a grind fest... How many total wins can you get against opponents in a week. Take a snapshot of stats before and after, and then do a proportional comparison depending on tier/stats. It might be work than it's worth, since grinding 200 wins on Buttwing is much easier than 1 on Lukien. Maybe a weight based on opponent difficulty - harder opponents get more points. Proportional to tier too. So, t9 can struggle through a Very Hard battle, but it should be worth similar to a t5 struggling through Medium. The more I type, the more garbage fire this is becoming. Don't do this.

Uh... Draw a picture of your battle pets! Lol. Or, doodle a picture of the pet of the entry above you.

Ideas:

• Battle bingo. We each have battle themed bingo boards and use RNG to call out the squares.
• Subeta themed cross word puzzle
• Battle trivia on the battle forums. Could be things like when was the battle system first revamped, who said this?, when were mod crystals first introduced, etc.
• Battle scavenger hunt. Asking questions and placing the answers in pic from around the forums
• Tier up challenge: Pick any pet and boost it to the next tier
• Battle challenge: Pick an opponent and beat them using only specific mods, specific weapons, specific scrolls, etc. For example, say you have to beat GE but can't use any anti-freeze blessings or freezing scrolls.
• Farm challenge: Farm x number of crystals off a challenger or farm specific type of crystals until you have x number
• HA challenge: Pick a random TSOS wearable and create an outfit around it. You do not have to own the item
• The pen is mightier challenge: Get paired up with a tsos member and write anything (short story, poem, etc.) about them or their battle pet or both!
• Battle on a budget challenge: beat battle quests using only budget weapons
• Adding to 's idea: Find an item in your house and turn it into a battle weapon with stats, description and what the battle text would be
• HA battle: we did something like this on another server, but we pair off and do a HA versus challenge where we each pick a wearable and vote on who wore it better
• Weapon contest: find a wearable-only weapon and give it stats and battle text

[Edit] Another contest idea I had. Battle predictions - someone posts a series of different battles and posts a screenshot of each of the battles. Based on the screenshot, we have to predict if the pet will win or lose the battle. Whoever guesses the most correct outcomes wins. The screenshot can be at any point within the battle, just not the first turn. You can make it as hard to guess as you want (ie: fighting an easier opponent but not show what weapons you are using)

Or just a generic "art" contest where we can write, draw, sculpt, bake, etc. something inspired by an opponent

A "battle-only" bb pet challenge - no training center or outside boosters, only exp and boosters gained from opponents the pet has beaten. Whoever gets to t3 first wins?

Some of my favorite ideas so far are:

• Making a weapon from IRL items (or turning an existing item in your house into a weapon)
• Sketch a battle pet of a different tsos member
• Farm challenge
• Some extended form of BQ Lotto

Another idea (based on Amei's thread):

• Come up with best / realistic battle improvements that could be made while working within the current system.
• Unrelated to subeta - virtual game of Drawful (or something else that can be done virtually as a group). Though I guess scheduling may be hard. maybe in brackets?
