Hello everyone! I hope your September is going well. This month always seems to fly by. I am trying to be more active here again. Fingers crossed in October we will be in an apartment and stable for the first time since April 2020. I am really looking forward to having our own place to live again.
Is it okay to vent here? I am having such a blue week. I'm back to caretaking in person again. Got a call that the wonderful 93 year old gal I've been seeing Saturday/Sunday is going into a home. I am so sad not to see her again, probably ever. I've only known her for a couple months but she was such a happy part of my work week. I know it's none of my business what her family thinks is best for her, and this is how it always goes when caretaking for people of this age, I am just sad that the most notice I got is just a call that I've been re-assigned. It feels so jarring. I always get so attatched to my wonderful ladies. And I am worried my new shift might be much more stressful. Lots of worst case scenario going on in my head, lol.
Anyway don't wanna bog stuff down with sadness- I also have 2 buddy gold accounts this month if anyone wants one! Just let me know!

I can relate McKenzie. I live in an assisted living home. Another section of it is for full care residents. I also have two close friends who have clients here that they spend time with. So I see the whole spectrum. It isn't easy for any of us. You are one of the angels that makes life much, much better while you are able too. May God bless you dear, as you bless others.

Anyone having any luck with the Freyalise? Carl gave me this for a quest, but I can't snag anything from the shop!
- I pretty much skip the Freyalise entirely and solely pin my hopes on Carl. I think some years the Freyalise items have appeared in the Mystery Box, but can't guarantee it'll happen this year.
