This has been happening for a while now, and I know other users are having the same issue.

When I click the <3 under an avatar it will turn pink, but once I refresh or leave the page it goes black to grey.

Sorry for the lack of details! It's both on mobile and desktop. Chrome and Firefox on desktop, Chrome and Puffin on mobile. I tried deactivating all extensions and erasing all my customCSS too.

I made a board on the Help section and a user helped me find that out. The grey heart is still a problem though as it should stay pink, I don't really know anymore what I have liked.

For sure! It was made with the intention of staying pink, so it is in fact a bug.

Well, as long as this topic has resurfaced...

I haven't been able to like HAs, posts or news comments on Android (Chrome) for a very long time. It doesn't even turn pink temporarily; clicking it highlights the border of the button while pressed but otherwise does nothing, as far as I can tell. I don't remember if it ever worked on mobile.

On desktop (Win10/Opera GX) liking an HA still only turns the heart pink temporarily; it reverts after reloading the page. I assume the like is still counted since my likes go up occasionally. But this definitely results in inadvertent "unlikes", presumably when someone thinks it just didn't take and they try again, or their like hasn't worn off yet from the previous day, you change your HA and they like it again. I've seen likes removed from my count once in a while and I really doubt it's just people changing their mind lol
