I could be wrong, but I thought that Quentin's quests only asked for holiday items if they were 50k or less in user shops. This is the second or third time that he's asked me for a holiday item that was much more expensive. Today it was which is 400k in user shops. Is he supposed to ask for such pricey items?

What seems to have happened is that someone put this item in their shop for 50k and it registered as an item Quentin can ask for. It was then bought, only leaving the expensive ones, but due to cache it's still in Quentin's asking pool.

i also want to bring up that these items can be bought in the steamworks menagerie for 10 trinkets. to easily find the year that the item belongs to, you can search subetalodge and in the notes, find the year.

always, always check the hover overlay for items like this! if they say something like, "official price: 10", then they are more than likely a holiday shop item!

Thank you guys for your answers! I didn't even think to check the price history, but that makes perfect sense! I luckily did have some Steamworks Trinkets on hand so I bought it for 10 trinkets instead of 400k out of user shops. :)
