Clair de Lune is a well-known piano piece by Claude-Achille Debussy:
Clair de Lune means "Moonlight" and is part of the Suite Bergamasque by Debussy. The Suite Bergamasque was first composed in 1890-1905. Debussy was inspired by a poem of Paul Verlaine:
Debussy’s music was a turning point from the Romantic music that had dominated the 19th century to the music of the 20th century. Clair de Lune is treasured for its ethereal beauty and sense of mystery.

i went full victorian/edwardian for this one! it was fun playing with the background lighting & trying to make an outfit that isn't 'modern' so to speak
and a version w/ the prize eyes:
i listened to clair de lune (extended) while making this, really helped set the scene & took me back in time to when this song was composed :)
I see the song as soothing, magical, ethereal, sparkly moon & star dust atmosphere. Like a clear cool night with nothing but the silvery moon glow & star dust covered sky above you & the calming sounds of water or rain flowing around you & relaxing your mind, body & soul.
My kind of night. Hope this makes sense & represents how I feel.

Outfit Not Found With my son being a classically trained ballet dancer, music and dance are a huge part of my life and totally intertwined. Debussy is actually the music used on one of the first serious pieces of choreography set on him and that he performed on stage. There was almost always a live pianist who played this beautiful music for him to dance to. ❤
