I am in the process of whittling down all of the dupes and creation-process-backups I have made over the years, and I am down from 13000 to just 5001 right now. Finding a lot of fun old designs along the way though. And I remember when I made all of them, that is the strangest part. I haven't found one design yet that I can't look back on and say, "Hey, I recall what event I was working on you for!" I've even found some that I had imported over from the original wardrobe back in the day.

Wow, that's a lot of avatars 👀 I find the outfit saving/editing/deleting tedious and the pages hardly ever load for me so I could never do what you're doing - though it sounds kinda fun!

Yes it is lol the lag is absolutely killing me as I keep trawling through this. But rediscovering old designs is a lot of fun :) How many saved outfits do you have?

Apparently 338, lol. But I'm sure at least half of those are "versions" of the same avatar.

This is wild, I can't imagine having that many. I have 144 and a lot feel old and unnecessary. Then again I don't feel like I'm as creative as you look, I tend to wear the same handful of things a lot.

I've always liked seeing yours when you would ping us to the bathhouse pools, your current one conveys a neat theme. Have you tried to tune up an old design from your current perspective? Sometimes that has helped me when I am feeling stuck with a new HA.

aw thank you :) See your new avatar is so creative, I never would have thought to make a gardener being attacked by fire squirrels. I don't change my avatar as much as I used to, but on the rare occasion I do make specific scenes where I'm trying to portray something. In those cases they tend to be ambient without avatar, focusing on background layering and use of animals and objects. Although my creativity increases during survival, building around the virus stages, like this stage of fevermore.

I just happened to see that two items paired well together, originally my gardener had a snake crawling up their arm toward the fire squirrel and the eyes were directed at that, so it was more like the squirrel was readying to defend itself/the gardener. Maybe rivals-but-friendly-to-the-gardener tamed animals even. Dang now I want to revisit that original design lol.

I love seeing designs that ditch an actual human and focus on scenes, they are so enjoyable. And that is a right nasty monster morphing scene like any of the recent found-film movies, awesome :O the in-between viral stages make great fun while they last.

That's insane! I'm way too precious with my avatars to delete any of the extras.

This is why I always have to make sure to be really careful about deleting any avatars that I've changed. I used to forget to do that all the time, because the old version would be on a different page, and it got out of control so quickly! But what a wild amount of avatars! That's very creative!! I wish I had that many ideas!!!

As of this moment, I am down to 1703 saved outfits across 142 pages. I'm sure that there are still some dupes somewhere in the middle of all of that, but I think I've done as much as I can for now.

That's how I got up to so many lol and while I still have fond memories of the creation process, some truly have been put to the axe and deleted wholesale. They were Just Bad.

Yes! I lost so many designs by mistake, including one of my favorites, and I only found 5 backups a few dozen pages away during this clean up. Fortunately his creation had gone off and on for a while but the final design I had submitted for that contest was accidentally cleared out and I was so disheartened after I saw that. And thank you! I love making new avatars for events or contests or just because of an item, like the stuff I added from my armory recently. You will get there! There are a couple of contests running right now in the avatars and games sub-forum if you want some inspiration?
