How's everyone doing with the quest-a-thon so far? Get any good retired holiday items?
I finally got motivated to unbox craft stuff (mostly fabric) and get it put on a shelf. I mostly wanted to make room to get craft stuff out of the main room in the basement so that we can actually sit on the couch to watch a movie. It also helped that my cousin is visiting...visitors-the great motivator for cleaning. I've lost that motivation now though because I've been helping with wheat harvest and get home after 10 p.m. every night.

The main reason they are giving my nephew hours on the farm is so that he can qualify for a farmer's permit, which will allow him to drive to school without an adult in the vehicle. My nephew mostly does it to drive the side-by-side. He sprayed thistles in pastures last year and I was finding thistles that hadn't been sprayed the very next day.
It sucks when people don't actually listen. I know early in our relationship, Chris wouldn't really listen when I would explain how I felt after an argument, he would just get mad and say that I was making it all about me. He does a lot better now because he realizes I have anxiety and I've told him about how my parents treated me growing up.
I would have a fit if the cats marked their territory like a male dog does. Last week, a husky showed up in my backyard looking for a way into the dog pen, then he marked three different trees. That's the second time that dog has been in our yard.
It's awful when rent goes up. You have a budget figured out and suddenly you have to figure out where to cut and move money from. Rent when up at the last place shortly after Chris got back from his deployment and it was short notice (like a 'hey, next month rent's gonna be $xxx) Paint is expensive! We still need to finish painting the kitchen and bathrooms, then we'll start working on the basement. We made the mistake of buying a 5-gallon bucket of paint in a light grey because we assumed we would use most of it....we've maybe used a quarter. I don't know why it mattered so much to my parents that we had everything moved out of the garage and into the house. They never offered to help and there's only so many boxes I can move on my own while Chris is at work. We still have some stuff stacked in the garage but's it's because we haven't unpacked the rooms that the stuff needs to go in yet.
I have to follow and recipe and measure everything out exactly (I might add extra vanilla or spices here and there). The only recipe that I don't follow is my recipe for deviled eggs because I go off of how it tastes and I've made them so many times I just know how much to add. I don't do much cooking, that's all Chris, but I do all the baking. Chris likes to get experimental and if I don't like it, then it's more food for him to eat.

Got a few good items from Carl including a WL pirate book on the 1st night. And a few 1 million SP items since then. Glad they extended it another day but we still have to do nearly 300K quests in the next day or so. Wonder if that's possible since it seems to have slowed down the past couple days. I don't care about the prizes but a new forum title would be nice. 1,734,767 quests completed

I only missed one day of fully questing. I've gotten some retired holiday items I am missing and some WL items too. :)

The first day I didn't do Sarah's quests, but I've gotten up early every day to get quests done before I have to leave the house. I've gotten a few books and plushies, but mostly food items. I wish I could get a few more books because those are some of the most expensive items on my WL.
I wish I'd get more books, especially ones from Morostide. I've gotten a few items that are worth a fair amount, but I'm sure they'll sit in my shop for a while. I hope we can reach the 2 mil goal in 3 days. I've noticed the lag has gotten worse in the late morning for me (9-10 a.m. Subeta time), so I try to have everything done before then.
I do all my quests at night before I go to bed. Can't do Sarah's. Got a few pirate books from Carl but I don't think I've gotten any Morostide books or valuable items. 1,754,613 quests completed Only another 250K to go but only 1-2 days left. I see the cash shop challenger talks about the possessions. Wonder when they're going to finish this story, whatever it is, and if we'll have a chance to win prizes or something from it.
Edit: 1,811,280 quests completed Woo hoo, only another 188K to go. Just finished all my quests for the night. Hope everybody else gets theirs in soon.

Sarah's quests are the only ones I can't do. I wish they would make an exception for the quests a thon, but they decided years ago that that was not an option.

We can do Sarah's and we are able to make a private forum group to put the sp in there to be able to do Sarah's quests.

I can understand them wanting to help him out, but it still kinda stinks if he doesn't take it seriously. In the end it will end up hurting them more then helping.
I always hated that about my ex. He loved to turn everything around on me too. At least he is getting better at listening to you. Hopefully that continues hugs we all need to be heard!

Yes and it is very stressful trying to figure out how to get everything paid for and still have a little money left over for emergencies. I just hope it doesn't happen again anytime soon :( Yes! I would love to repaint the bedroom (the brown is hideous!) but I am not willing to spend that kind of money on an apartment. If it was my house, then that would deff be a priority!! Do they want to movie into your garage?!?! Otherwise it makes no sense for them to even care what your garage looks like! You will get it all done! If you are managing day to day life without stuff from the boxes then clearly that stuff is not all that important! I hate naggy people. It just makes me NOT want to do what they are nagging me to do!
Me too! I always worry about messing something up and wasting all the ingredients (some of that stuff is way too expensive!). Same, but if it is something I never made before I have to follow the recipe. Sometimes I try to look up pics just to see what it is supposed to look like. Lol how sneaky of him! :P

I've been using Adventure Captain for years. I used to change it for the holidays, but haven't remembered to do it in a long time, lol.

I just changed mine to the sparkle thing and forgot all about it. I have a hard time remembering to change my theme. Right now I just have it set to Riverside Valley since we don't have a spring/summer one. I wish they would make more of them.
