I'll admit I'm entirely speaking as someone who does not care for the human avatar aspect of the site at all. With that said though, I would really like it if the HA borders could also be used for our pets. Like with pet leashes, as well as with simple links such as

It would be neat if we could assign borders to different pets, perhaps on the same page where we crop headshot images for them. This would provide even more incentive to collect avatar borders and work towards achievements that reward them.

Like currently I'm aware the borders exist but HAs aren't my vibe. I'm not entirely sure I'd use pet borders but the idea makes me happy and I know I'd probably put more stake in trying to unlock them if I could potentially use them for pet related purposes!

This is a really cute idea, support! I use the full forum stuff and I only see my own avatar border when I'm on that page in the wardrobe, if i post on news posts, or one of my friend's pages that lists their friends.

It seems like a waste that they are somewhat hidden away and go unused on forums, the biggest communication hub of the site. I forget borders are even a thing despite collecting them enthusiastically, because I never actually see them where I am the most. Putting them on leashed pets is a huge opportunity.

I love this idea and fully support it. I'm not much of an avatar person (as you can see XD) but for my Pets I would be much more interested in unlocking all those pretty borders.

I feel right now those borders get so little use value. Granted, I'm sure they'll be showing around more when the new site comes live, but who knows when that will happen. In the meantime we're working hard to earn those borders and I'd definitely appreciate more opportunities to use them!
