I would like to suggest having a Quest-a-thon Shop, simular to the plot shops, where you accumulate points for the amount of quests you are able to complete. Then with those points you can buy what ever items you desire all through the year until the next Quest-a-thon event where prizes are added to the shop and you get to repeat the process all over again. You could even save your points for the next quest-a-thon event to spend on the new prizes. I love the idea of having a choice of prizes for the Quest-a-thon.

I actually like events where everyone getting the same thing. It's also less of a hassle for artists.

We also have a shop where we can save up points from quests we complete - the quest shop. So, I feel like a Quest-a-Thon shop would be....super redundant.

I don't really want a shop, but I wouldn't mind a couple different choices of prize for those who don't want a pet slot. Can't say I relate, as I'm always up for a chance at another pet slot, but other people prefer different things and that's ok.

i like the idea of multiple prize options but don't really think i'd like a prize shop ;; 'do thing to accumulate points to spend in a special shop' is basically what every holiday is already so in that sense quest-a-thons stand out as unique and i like that personally

I'd like that. I don't care about pet slots or headshot borders.

I like the idea of different prizes, because not everyone needs more pet slots or headshot borders. A few different items maybe to choose from or something along those lines I could see. That way it benefits different people.

I love the idea of a prize shop! I guess I just love shopping!!! Especially since I am too broke to do much shopping in rl lmao!

Maybe not a shop, but it would be nice to maybe have one or two different prizes to pick from! Or just be able to opt out of stuff maybe? I don't care about borders (not even completely sure what they are tbh, I don't use the boards, or HAs really ^^;) so I feel bad about potentially taking it away from someone that would want it.

I would love a shop, even if it's a tiny one with 10 items or less for us to pick. Everyone would be happy making their own choices based on their preferences. Love the event how it is now, no complaints, but it's an interesting idea.

The gold border concerns me, I too wish we could opt out of that. I earned that border last QaT but still intend to quest the max and wouldn't want to "use up a slot" that someone else could have. Also don't want to see people holding back to leave slots to others and end up failing the goal!

No support for a prize shop. I'm one of those who never wanted the pet slots in the first place and actually deleted one years ago when the early ones were given out in the form of totems. Eventually I decided it was okay to have extra, empty slots because someday I might change my mind, LOL and I did! When the blobs came out I decided I wanted a blob army but didn't want to abandon any of my existing pets.

Thing is, unlike other events, questing in and of itself is extremely profitable and productive. Shop sales go up, you earn sP, prizes and quest points while questing. You join in community fun and feel good "helping" to reach the goal. I don't think it needs anything extra even if all the event prizes aren't to your liking!

That's a legit concern for me, I know people are gonna be kind and want to hold back - but don't do it until we hit the actual goal, please!

And again, if you want to "pick prizes", you will have a mountain of SP and CSC gotten via quests to buy things you actually want, plus the quest shop which you can treat as your Quest-a-Thon prize so. We really really really don't need another currency that's gonna be used once a year :(

i don't know why this is a stance floating around but no one should be holding back 😭 we can tie for ranks so it doesn't matter if you got the gold border last time and do all your quests this time, you're not taking anyone's spot?? you'll just tie with however many other people feel like doing all the quests!

anyway i know amber already put her foot down re:shop but i will say -- and i know this sounds greedy -- i liked it a little better when we'd get a currency like referral points or forum points to go along with the other prizes 🥺
