Hello all! I am yet again slowly chipping my way into the blue building. However I seem to encounter chat threads that I am told not to "necro" it.
Now I am a very dumb person who grazed the rulebook, so what does 'necro' mean and how do i avoid it in the future?
i tend to just find an unlocked thread and dropping a comment before bouncing.
Any tips in how to be a good rule-abiding forum poster?
Necroing is bringing a topic back that has been inactive for weeks, even months. Usually those are dead threads that need to be locked. So just make sure you reply to a thread that is a few days inactive.

Here's a link to the rule! (https://subeta.net/help/rules.php?act=rule&id=36) Inactive threads are supposed to lock on their own but I don't think that function actually works :P It's not a big deal, just be sure to check the last date on a thread before posting

In the future, if you have questions about the rules, please feel free to file a ticket -- it's best to get information on rules directly from staff (although the information posted in this thread is good). :)
