Today we're cleaning and grocery shopping, not much else planned though. Chill day with okra and potato curry, the kitties, and The A List on Netflix. I might play some Fortnite with my nephew.

Weeellll....I have to work all weekend. So no plans for me. But will probably play animal crossing a little bit and....that's about it really.

I work all weekend, plus I have to work overtime. 13 hours today, 12 tomorrow. I work outside and it's forecast to be well over 100°F for the next couple of days, likely reaching record-breaking temperatures I've never even experienced before (and I've camped in the desert in the summer many times). So my plan for the weekend is...to hopefully not die.

what kind of work do you do? I was obsessed with animal crossing the first month or so that I got it, and then I completely fell off and haven't been back to my island in MONTHS. Lol, it became kind of monotonous for me. Have you finished the storyline?

I work at the front desk of a small, local art museum 2 days a week and am a supervisor at JoAnn fabrics 3-4 days a week. Does...does animal crossing have a storyline really? Lol But in terms of house upgrades and all that stuff, I'm basically done. The only thing I haven't done yet is gotten a 5 star island because I'm garbage at decorating, but my house is fully upgraded (sans the storage increases after the house is fully done) and I have all the shops and gotten K.K. Slider to visit. Still need bugs, fish, and art for the museum, but the fossils are completed. Tbh, I can see how AC can get pretty boring and I'm definitely getting to the point of not really caring if I don't check in daily. If I had friends that I could visit islands of and have over to my island to play around, it'd probably be more fun, but I only have 2 friends who might be able to do that except I don't really have internet capability very much. As in, I don't have internet at home and the internet at work blocks the visiting feature of the game. But I can visit dream islands at work. Lol

Ooooh must be fun working at a museum!! Lol I guess you're right, I don't have any RL friends that play AC so I ended up dropping it and got really into Fortnite for a while. Now, I'm not playing much of anything anymore except Subeta and just joined Neo again a couple days ago.

It's really not as exciting as it sounds. At least not my shifts. Tuesday night, we're mainly just open for people to come in for open studio pottery time (we have class spaces in the basement), but it's rare to get any actual visitors in then and Saturdays usually aren't busy much except occasionally in the fall or winter because in the spring and summer people generally prefer to get out of town over the weekend when weather is nice so we get the occasional visitor, but it's generally pretty slow (I think we got maybe 9 or 10 people in today in the 5 hours we were open and half of that was all one group/family). So I split my time between data entry tasks and messing around on Subeta. Or reading.

I've mainly kept up with AC because I'm a completionist so I desperately want to get the coveted 5 star island (and also get my fave villagers to gift me their photos), so I pop in to fish or bug catch to try to find/get the few in season ones I still need for the museum and do small tweaks daily to decor and the layout. I finally got the villager homes arranged decently and am about to move my house from one location to slightly back and to the left so I can set up a decent-ish garden. But I'm mainly playing Tales of Vesperia:Definitive Edition, Rune Factory 4, and Cuphead....which I'm horrible at and have only completed 2 levels in several days of playing.

I've always wanted to go to a pottery class, have you done it? Sounds like a university job kinda lol which is chill

Lol yeah I gave up on it, I tend to obsess over things for a short period of time then drop them completely, I cannot commit to anyyyything so good for you honestly. Cuphead has really cool graphics!!!

Mine hate weekends, I wish had a job to work them. But, I had me some good Mexican style sushi today, and hinted about installing a new radio on my car.

I'm a little behind on my Switch games( figuring out how to evolve certain species of Pokémon without looking it up), and trying to better manage the days with my other activities. The fall semester is still over a month from now, I'll need plenty of distractions.

Mexican style, in that the preparation is with different condiments. And I believe it was fried, but the version I chose is Paquita la del Barrio. I don't remember all the details, other than to say I want to try all versions.

We talking about games in here? I just got Fallout 76 (it was gifted to me; I'm a huge Fallout fan but I resisted 76 because I'm not big on multiplayer games, although I am curious about it and looking forward to playing it now). I downloaded it and it won't run. I just got a brand new gaming PC so I'm super annoyed that this isn't working and I haven't had a chance to figure out what's going on yet because of all this stupid overtime. Grr.

Idk if it's still true, but supposedly I get 1 free class or workshop per semester. But unfortunately, I never have time off to attend them (workshops are almost always on Saturdays....when I'm working the front desk... XP) and the beginning pottery classes always fill up within a day or of registration opening up anyway. But someday I'd like to try pottery.

Yes! I love everything about Cuphead! .. except how bad I am at it. But the music is fun, the graphics are awesome, it's really cool and I don't regret picking it. (As a birthday present, a friend let me choose between 1 expensive game or 3 cheaper games. So I went with 3 cheaper, though I nearly picked one of the Pokemon games.)

WELL if I were you I would get into that pottery class ASAP, it looks so fun and soothing and you can make yourself a mug or a vase, if you have pets, a water/food bowl omg the possibilities are endless, again i'm so jealous Lol yea i'm incredibly impatient, maybe I'll get on again soon tho, we can visit each others islands <3

I'm not about it, the restaurant that serves it here may be unique to our area. I don't know enough to give a better description. I don't blame you about Tetris, it's one of those games that has to be played for years to good. I've played several versions for over 25 years. In 99, my best efforts get third place, but such fierce opponents sometimes...

Unfortunately, as I mentioned, classes are pretty much always on days I have work, so yeah...nit gonna be able to get in for a long time. And my budget is VERY tight right now so I can't really afford to take time off for stuff. XP But you know...eventually someday before I die maybe I'll get the chance to take a pottery class. Probably in like 3-5 years when I've paid off a lot more debt and hopefully have a better job. One that pays well enough that I don't have to work multiple jobs just to make ends meet.

my weekend went pretty well. I got to have a sleepover with friends and have a movie night. My gal pals forced me to watch all of demon slayer so we can watch the movie haha!

My only gripe about Tetris 99 is the game operates on standard rules. There is no cascade effect like in The Next Tetris.

I'm more puzzled by the spin off Pac-Man 99...

Oh I SOOOO want to watch A Quiet Place Pt. 2!! I absolutely loved the first one! Speaking sign language myself, I was very interested in the process, and thoroughly enjoyed it! So looking forward to watching it!
