There are several areas of the site that are unfortunately broken.
I understand the future of many features is unknown as things move towards new subeta....but it would be great if there could still be a simple edit to the pages of known broke features to indicate this area of the site is currently down. This would help with confusion on new users or users returning from hiatus.
I.E.
Obviously maybe use wording thats a bit more subeta.

Support - the "pet rank" thing just stalls forever and doesn't ever display anything, so I think a little note would help so that people aren't left wondering why it's taking so long to load.
I know that folks may have mixed opinions on displaying which features are broken, as it calls attention to site issues, but I think it would aid with confusion about pet ranks/user wealth. I would also reword it with a slightly more positive spin, e.g. "This feature will return soon."
I think this would be a really helpful feature, esp if it means we cut down on the amount of P&B threads made, so that staff can sift through those threads easily.
I like this idea, I do think it would need a additional "and we are hard at work on fixing this","but this is not our priority right now","Do not expect this to be fixed in the near future" or something else like that to help people have reasonable expectations about the broken features.
Maybe the date a feature broke (or when it was noticed) might be nice to add to provide further context.
I think this would be great! Support!
Along the same lines, a page/sticky thread of known broken features would be nice (w/ priority level of being worked on, as suggested above). I feel like there is/was something similar but I cant seem to find it in P&Bs.
Please, no more empty promises that something will be fixed "soon". Stargazer is down just "temporarily". Tubular Tiles will be back "as soon as possible". The Shengui Guo Teahut will be "worked on in the near future". Forum Search will be back "in a few weeks".
The credibility of this site when promising fixes in a timely manner is dubious, to put it generously.
I get that site owners might not want to highlight broken things, but its better to see a "sign" that says this is broken, than not. When you don't know, you click and it loads infinitely, or you get a blank page or something else odd happens. You wonder if a recent update or some minor change happened on your computer, and you might be able to fix it. Or if its something the site needs to do and you can ignore it for now.
Its frustrating for people trying to fix the issue, like forced reload, clearing cache, restarting, etc, only to find out that it was a known issue all along and they just wasted their time.

A master list with priority noted and an actual note on the pages with things being worked on? That sounds like it would make life too easy for staff and members alike.
Needless to say, this has my full and complete support. Especially if it sees things fixed more easily/quicker.

That's a fair point, too. I like 's suggestion, though, with a list of priority projects. I could see a list causing some strife, though, e.g. "Why are staff prioritizing X but not Y/Why is A being fixed but not B" threads/comments.
Regardless of what it specifically says, some sort of notification that a feature is broken is good.
