Hello, fellow subeta friends! I am gonna be transparent here on what occured and what will potentially happen. Read on if interested...
My hiatus was started few years ago due to life outside of subeta. There was many setbacks..My bestfriend got stage 4 cancer, my journey led me to Christ and the church I was attending wasn't a legit church but a cult. It drove a wedge between me and her. I recently apologized and made up with her. I was going through serious bouts of depression and anxiety. Unfortunately around that time my PC gave me that deadly screen and my motherboard died. Art was lost. No access to a new PC and could not use my tablet to draw. I decided maybe its time to say goodbye to subeta since the setbacks (both personal and professionally) This led me to traditional artwork, then covid happened and i was able to invest in Cricut. I eventually got an Ipad gen 7 to use cricut with it and there is a program called procreate! I have an apple pen.
I have missed making digital art. I have a few learning curves to learn on procreate but it is possible to slowly resume digital art on subeta. I have other obligations as a wife, family/bestfriend and my new church( this time not a bad one) so I am not entirely sure how much art I will make.
However, one change..What i will not draw anymore.
As a christian I feel uncomfortable with Halloween and spooky themes. I still like kawaii themes like sailor moon...etc. Halloween was never my thing anyways. As a christian maybe some of you might feel uncomfortable with my beliefs but on here I will strictly be all about art and being a good friend to you all. Im not here to preach lol but due to this change, I may lose a few peeps who love dark magical themes. For that I do apologize. I also understand I have lost trust and reliability as my Hiatus was not a smooth process. I apologize to everyone for the lost art. I can not go back sadly but going forward I will include subeta sized down version and as well working size via dropbox.

and lastly, I am super thankful for your support in the past. Your friendships, making art that you all loved and blessings from art I was able to do so much for my family.

Lots of hugs and love. It's so good to hear from you! I'm very sorry to hear everything you went through, but I'm very happy to hear that things seem to be on the mend for you! I would never drop a friend just because they don't feel comfortable with something that I may enjoy. That just seems silly to me!

Glad to see you back and I really hope you're in a better headspace now. Don't worry about darker themes, just do whatever your comfortable with and makes you happy. Everyone else can come talk to me and I'll punch'em for ya!

Its nice to be back, slowly getting back into making art again. I never sought help for my mental health until 2020 so things should be alot better! Thank you so much. <3 Yes it does give me joy! I always loved the subeta community.<3 glad to see ya :) Thank you and its okay. I know that alot of other people in this hiatus have also had it hard as well. my problems are minuscule in comparison. Im just thankful for being alive and here on subeta.
