The senate unanimously approved the ratification of Juneteenth as a national holiday. It still has to go to the House of Representatives for approval and then be signed into law by President Biden, but this is really cool news.

Finally. Apparently not every non-black person feels this is important though, or even knows what it is, because I had to school someone yesterday on what it is and why it's important, even if you're not black.

I hate everything about this, primarily for the reason of it's a holiday that no one knows the history behind and they should but somehow, that's too much or some such nonsense.

The rest is too political for Subeta and I have a feeling I'm going to be warned for this post anyways.
