Hello! I got the tempest within the last week (for the coming down for a hug) and I remember thinking cool I can get the new border! I didn't think to check at the time...I thought it would just be under borders but its not showing in my achievements so I'm assuming its not showing in my borders either. But I have gotten it since it came out and I'd like that to reflect on my account.

do you remember that she in fact gave you the border or something else? She randomly appears, and randomly gives the border when she does appear.

I thought she gave me something...I thought if she "hugged" you you got it? I did get a hug LOL XD

It's not guaranteed when she visits and she may have given you an item instead. You'll know when you get it because you'll get two events: One for the achievement you're completing, and one that tells you that you unlocked the border. Hope this helps!

I DID receive a VISIT less than a week ago!!! I received an item AND a hug...........Is that not eligible for the border?? I did NOT use a temptest rod or whatever...she just randomly visited me but I did not get a border...

If its completely random and you do NOT get it everytime than that makes sense.....otherwise I didn't get it lol xD I wasn't sure but I figured a visit qualified...Thank you to you and for the responses.
