I hop on Subeta apparently like once every three years now or something, but I'm usually turned off by immediate bugs and just nagging little issues. To give you a for instance, the last time I came back to the site, I had something like tens of thousands of forum event notifications and there was no way to mass clear them all. I had to submit a ticket and an awesome mod was able to do it for me, but it was little things like that that kept me away. I recently wandered over to another pet site from earlier in my youth for that sweet hit of nostalgia and oh my god, I was STARTLED to find it so broken. I know a lot of that is due to Flash going away.... but still. It was unplayable, even normal tasks like dailies. So I decided to come back over this way to see how things were going on the Subeta end of things, dreading the mountain of events I'd have to crawl back to site admins and file a ticket to have cleared out again. And lo and behold, I didn't have to do that! There's a link for it now. You can't even imagine how ecstatic I was over something so trivial to most people.

I remember a time when I used to think, how could Subeta ever compete, how could it ever stand the test of time with all of these obnoxious glitches? And I'm sure there are still glitches. It's an ever-evolving website and that's the nature of things, but I just wanted to say OH MY GOSH THE SITE IS RUNNING SO WELL RIGHT NOW and just big huge kudos to everybody involved. Everything looks gorgeous and is running so smoothly. The interface hasn't changed drastically, but the parts that have changed I'm finding very easy to navigate. Despite the long periods of absences from this site, this is the first time coming back where I could really see myself sticking around. I don't know that I truly will, lol, I'm easily distracted, but..... I really love all the changes and updates and I just wanted to say that and congratulate the teams that work on all of it. It feels like the site has been built and rebuilt from the ground up a few times over my 12ish year history with it and I'm just stoked to see that it still gets so much effort and passion and creativity poured into it.

TL;DR THE SITE IS LOOKING AND WORKING GREAT RIGHT NOW, THANKS TO EVERYBODY WHO WORKS ON IT FOR ALL YOU DO!

Welcome back! I too am back from what feels like a solid 5+ years away from my 13 year home here. I like that basically every time I peek back in it hasn't really changed all that drastically, and I can kind of just jump back in full force (or not) and I don't do well with change or letting things go so here I am again haha.

Welcome back! I agree.. even though we're still in the covid times and many staff are busy/have other stuff going on in their lives, Vesnali has gone off without a hitch.
