I'm not sure if the title is really clear but I don't know how to make it better. Sometimes I try to request a promotion for a pet only to get "Oh no! You are already the top position!" (and shouldn't it say "You are already in the top position"?) But the thing is, I can never remember which jobs are the top position, or which pets have reached it.

So it would be nice if I could see if a pet is at the top level of employment before trying to request a promotion. Especially since, as far as I can find, there doesn't seem to be a way to see all the levels of a job so there's no way to check, and even if there was I'd still want to be able to see it at a glance.

One thing I thought of was to change the text on a pet's employment status page. Currently it says the same thing for all pets:

I also thought of just adding the text "top position" to the name of a pet's job on the employment agency page, so it would say something like "Scuba Instructor top position" so it's not even necessary to go to the employment status page to see it, but you have to go there anyway to request a promotion and I still think the text there should be changed if possible, because it's weird for it to talk about promotion when there's no higher position to promote to.

This would be a a nice QoL improvement, support.

That's a good idea. You'd have to know what it means (so maybe there can be something on the page that explains it) but it's definitely a good way to show at a glance without adding text.

All my pets are currently at their top tiers (or have the specific job I want them to have), but this would have been really helpful while I was getting them there. It was a constant nuisance having to check days, stats, and which pets still needed promotions. And I only have 15 pets. If I had more it would have been so much more frustrating!

Yes!!! All 12 of my pets have jobs and the whole thing can be a pain - figuring out over and over who needs a new job, what job they can then qualify for, etc.

Yes! i completely support this! I know a few of my pets have the top position. I'd also like to know what job titles are there that i could get my pets, to fit their profiles/stories/whatever.

I remember seeing somewhere (surely made by a user) a list of all the positions for specific employers. I think it even had wages mentioned. I forgot if it was on the forums or on a pet profile or where. However, it would be good for the said list to be official, not "fan made." - side note, there's nothing wrong with "fan-made" we just need it to be from the staff.

That is helpful. Though it would still be nice to have an official list of all the job levels accessible from the job agency.

oh agreed! And that's something that Subeta has gotten a lot better at, but still needs more work.

I would love this too. I have more than 90 pets who have jobs and some way to keep track of those who need to advance and those who don't on the main page would be awesome.

I like Frenchi's idea of a star, but I'm also oblivious sometimes and would like some more obvious indication. Maybe css could be used to set the words of a top position apart? That way I can change its color/boldness/etc. if I wanted to.

If not, the star could be cool too. I'd just have to make it bigger or something. :)

This is just a little thing, but it would be so great! I constantly forget, and just end up going through everyone every few months.
