I’m back on the site after a very long time and have found that my pet “Satu*” has a disallowed character in her name. I’m being given the option to keep her name as it is, so long as I’m ok with any problems that might occur. Just wondering if anybody has ever encountered such a problem? I think the * is sort of interesting and unique but I don’t wanna break stuff

Since your pet has the legacy name with the * in it, it could be an option to just change its name and remove the * symbol. It will still show the legacy name on the profile as Satu* even if the official name becomes just Satu. :)

I got a similar warning about an older pet I had adopted and simply modified it and I think it's nicer now. Unfortunately this all happened before legacy names were a thing but still happy with the result.
