Anyone know what item it is you can use against the Troll right now? i cant do any damage to him what so ever.

I'm curious, too. So far I see a pattern in the attacks, every once in a while it attacks a bit. I recommend having a pet with more than 150 in each skill. However, do you know the riddle on how to get rid of a troll? Internet troll, specifically. ......you ignore him. You might figure out a related pattern within the battle desciption logs! I find that using defense items for about ten rounds, and a healer every once in a while changes the responses. Not using these drops your pet's health when it attacks. Anyway, I hope this helps! There is one weapon between Tier 1 and 5 that can damage the troll - it's random and changes every 5 wins.

To add to what said, the correct item changes for everyone once an user gets 5 wins. Say the correct weapon is the Charlie Folding Knife. If user A and user B both use the knife, and user A gets 2 wins and user B gets 5 wins, the correct item will change on user B's fifth win and the knife will no longer do damage.

Basically, defeating the Troll is a task of teamwork or extreme luck/perseverance.

So i just have to use EVERY weapon between 1-5 and see which one works?

Um pretty much, yeah. The bright side is I think it's only tier 1, 2 and 3 weapons. There was a thread a few years ago where lots of users worked together to find the weapon that worked, but it got abandoned.

A good suggestion for BAs would be to increase the number of working weapons to 5. Would still be a challenge but not impossible to do alone or with a few friends.

Oof! I thought it was only tier 1 weapons (and even just that put me off). Thanks for posting the weapon tiers so that people who do wanna go for Troll (shinwa bless them) know what they are getting into.

(P.S. For ref - according to SubetaLodge there are 905 T1-3 attackers)

Just to finalize, the weapons are actuall T1-T3, a LOT less than if you went all the way to T5. Hope this helps to kick that Troll's arse!! totally determined fury

It's frustrating, but that's a Troll for you... I found that it's less of an ulcer maker if you only go after him when the mood strikes you, and eventually the random generator gods may smile on you.

Wouldn't a better way be to just have 10 items, then battle something easy 5 times to reset and do it like that?

Hi. I know this is an old thread but I am glad the Troll was mentioned because I was trying to find a minion that could curse that obnoxious jerk and wipe that smug smirk off it's ugly mug. I had a bunch of weapons but the troll is immune to all elemental and physical attacks. So maybe cursing it would be good but I need a minion that might help even the odds.
