My friend is having NO luck unlocking the boarder... is there a trick to unlocking it or what???? She's been Mystery Dancing since the boarders came out.

there is no trick. Neither Achievement dance I was in seemed special to me, only poof awarded!!

She is just unlucky. It took me a day to get it.

I didn't get it until late tonight, and I've been mystery dancing as much as I can while I'm online since the achievements were announced. Unfortunately it's just bad luck :c

I thought the achievements were from users dancing with you, not the other way around?

I wonder if it's because I don't always go to the dance floor? Anyhow, I've mystery danced like 40 times today and haven't gotten it. The weirder part is I've only gotten like 4 mystery dances to me. So idk lol

The rave border is awarded when you accept dances from other people, but you can get the steamwork one from sending a mystery dance (not sure if you can also get it from receiving one, but I got mine from sending one out)

in the News post ammouncing this, there are comments and in them near the very beginning of the thread, Amber says it should be on the accept page.

So going to the ballroom is not necessary for that one, according to Staff.

Other users who have gotten the other one say it is upon doing the mystery dance.

I got it after 6 mystery dances, with no need to go to the dance floor. It's just random :)

If you find a trick let me know. I still can't seem to get it. :(

Three days, probably close to 100 mystery dances by now and still nothing, while I got the rave border only after two rounds in the forums. Random luck is really random 😔

I haven't gotten it either. very frustrating, reminds me of the pumpkin patch and hunting for the minion

I'm still hoping I can get this one soon. No luck yet.

Today's count: 37 mystery dances, probably a handful more than that yesterday, still no achievement. It's frustrating and makes me question what I'm doing with my life. grumbles a bit more I'll be back tomorrow though.

I've done as many Mystery Dances as I can and I still don't have it. RNG let me have the Rave broder but it's not letting me have this one. I hope it will still be available next year.

I hope it will be available next year as well. Really hate random luck acheivements especially when they retire.
