General Lag, 5xx Errors and Timeouts Thread
Please read the following information about reporting general lag and errors.[box=#ffdddd]
Before making a report, please check the last few pages of this topic as well as admin posts to see if there has already been a staff response to the issue. Please also check the Known Issues spoiler below to see if your issue has already been reported, and if so, what additional information we may be seeking at this time. Please read the guidelines in this post before writing your report. Thank you!
Known Issues
This is a list of known issues that have been occurring persistently to multiple users.
Advertising Forum
Description: Users sometimes experience a 502 or 504 error when trying to load the Advertising forum specifically. This usually goes away after a couple of refreshes.
Info to include in your report: There is no need to report this error at this time.
50x Error when Quickstocking Many Items Description: Users experience page lag and timeout when quickstocking a lot of items at once. Info to include in your report: How many items were you quickstocking, and where were they being quickstocked to?
User Dashboard not Loading Description: Users cannot load the User Dashboard. Sometimes goes away with a refresh. Info to include in your report: There is no need to report this error at this time.
Reporting an Timeout / Error code / Cloudflare Error
Please include the following information:- The error code (502, 504, 524, etc) if there is one
- What page(s) you got the error on - If you only encountered the error on one page, please include the exact URL if you have it.
- Approximate time you first encountered the error
- How long the error lasted. (for instance, were you stuck on the 504 for the next half hour, or you wait 5 seconds, refresh, and it was back to normal?)
For example: "I got a 504 error on the page turning in the items for Pete's quests at 5:03 PM subeta time. The error went away after a single refresh."
Generally if you only get the error once, and it goes away after a single refresh, it does not need to be reported. If you get the error on the same page more than once, please report it.
Reporting general site lagginess
Please include the following information:- What page(s) or sections of the site you experience lag on
- Approximate severity of the lag (for instance, how long do pages hang for - 5 seconds? a whole minute? etc)
- Approximate time the lag started
There is no need to ping programmers - they will regularly check this thread.

Experienced a 502 Bad Gateway error on the friends page at midnight subeta time May 1st and when trying to add a friend through the sidebar alert around April 29th. Error hasn't gone away despite multiple refreshes.
Currently getting a 502 Bad Gateway Error when clicking on “Dashboard” under the Personal tab. It does not go away with several refreshes.

For a couple of hours the site has been keeping hanging again every few minutes. 10 to 30 seconds, before it wakes up again.
General Site Lagginess:
Entire site affected. When I click to go somewhere the page hangs for 10-30 seconds (with an hourglass on the tab signifying it's trying to load) before giving up and remaining on the same page (hourglass disappears). Usually works on second or third try. It's been like this for several days as far as I can remember. If you try to open a page in a new tab while this hanging lag is going on, when it stops trying to load it just becomes a blank white page with no tab icon or title (no kumos, has the url for the tab title instead) and no ability to refresh to try again (grayed out icon - f5 doesn't even work either).
At first I thought it was my own internet but going to other websites is fast and instant while subeta sits there refusing to load.

Experienced a 502 Bad Gateway error on the dashboard page starting at 8pmish subeta time May 1st. Despite multiple tries, a cash clear, a hard refresh, and trying the page from multiple browsers and also on my phone, the error is persisting until now, 7:00:04 pm subeta time, May 2nd.
I'm currently doing quests and I'm experiencing some intermittent lag. Pages take anywhere between 2-20 seconds to load. Sometimes a forum topic won't load after I post and I need to refresh because I get the never ending circle.

Experiencing error 205 whilst trying to access friends list via this URL https://subeta.net/friends.php I have been experiencing the problem since yesterday night likely around 10pm British standard time. but I feel it is also worth mentioning it is not a page i frequent so the problem may have began prior to that time.
Update: Thursday May 13th 16:40 BTS checked and the error is still persisting
i am experiencing a 502 error any time i try to access my friends page, either from mobile or desktop. no matter how long i stay on the page or try to revisit it, i still get the same error. this is an issue for me because there is someone whose friend request i am trying to accept, but currently can't since i'm unable to access the page at all.

I am experiencing a lot of lag while doing quests. Sometimes the pages are hanging for a minute and other times it takes seconds to load. Not sure what’s going on, but it’s irritating

When i try to trigger my wardrobe layer achievements i get a message that says
We are checking your browser... sapi.subeta.net
This web property is not accessible via this address.</p>

Completing the CAPTCHA proves you are a human and gives you temporary access to the web property.</p>
<p>What can I do to prevent this in the future?
If you are on a personal connection, like at home, you can run an anti-virus scan on your device to make sure it is not infected with malware.</p>
<p>If you are at an office or shared network, you can ask the network administrator to run a scan across the network looking for misconfigured or infected devices.</p>

and I checked my computer for malware and I don't have any. This same message happened on my work computer but I thought it was my works firewall (i was on lunch!!!!)

Good morning Subeta Team, I am having fun around the quests areas and ran into this issue below.

Hope I am doing this correctly in reporting an error I just got at the Blue Building visiting Queen Bea. Did refresh and cookies cleaned but still can't load the page successfully.

Lag caused by the start of the event (I'm assuming), pages consistently hanging for 5-10 seconds across the site. I left myself an hour and a half to do my quests and didn't even get half way through them before I ran out of time because of the constant lag. I know there may be nothing the team can do to rectify this during events but I thought I should mention it just in case.
We just did some SIGNIFICANT updates to address the lag! The website should be way faster now! <3
