Does anyone know if the recycle beast ever asks for currency items?

Thinking about these excess trinkets ;)

he did at one point but i think it was a mistake/oversight and got changed. (it was 1 point wizard tokens and it almost crashed the site.) however i'm not 100% sure; maybe someone else has a definitive answer.

I can't speak to the recycle beast, but I know Quentin asks for some 1 trinket/token items (anything valued under 50k, if I remember correctly) a lot of people use their excess tokens to buy those items because most people do Quentin quests every day for the amulets.
